2002 Rainbow Kisses

CHAPTER 15

We arrived at the bonfire with Ryan, apparently Adam will meet us here since he has to drop off his little sister at her sleepover party so he couldnt ride with Ryan. To be honest I was a little disappointed.

I didn't wear the jumpsuit Ash bought for me though, I was still self cautious but I did let her style my hair and do my makeup.
I was wearing  black cargo pants and a red tank top. I left my sweater in the car, well Ash forced me to leave it saying it ruins the outfit.

I don't know why, but I feel as if everyone is looking at me. Did they hear about what happened yesterday? Sam  and Kevin wouldn't tell anyone that right? They also want to keep every a secret.

"Wow Rain, you look hot!" A guy I don't even know remarks.
" Umm thanks" I say shyly.

"Back up buddy!" Ash said hushly as the guy was starting to invade my personal space.

"Whatever, see you around Rainbow" he said as he walked away.
I just smiled at him and focused back on Ash.
"Are you okay?" She asks.
Noticing my confusion she added " I mean with what happened yesterday"
Ohhh, it finally clicked why she shooed him away. She was just being cautious in case I freaked out.
But I gave her a smile and a nod, I hadn't really thought much about it honestly or I am blocking it out I don't know.

I should go home today after the bon fire I really miss my dad and my stupid brother if that's even possible.
I haven't really talked to them like that these past couple of days and I really should make an effort to talk to them especially my dad.
I do not want him thinking I wasn't serious about making it up to him.

"Ray, let's go grab something to eat " Ash says as she links one of her arm in mine and the other one in Ryan's.
Aww they are so cute, I should sta behind so they can talk.
I wonder were Adam is.
" I finally found you guys" speak of the devil.
" you guys go on ahead, I will stay with Adam"
Adam looks quickly looks at me and nods his head too even though he just arrived.

"Are you sure Ray?" Ash asks.
" yes I am now go, you know what I like, and please bring me a hot dog and water, I already feel bad about the hot dog with my diet"
Ash just rolls her eyes and they start walking towards the food stalls

I turn to Adam who is watching me, well two can play that game. I stare back at him until we both end up laughing.

" Well hie, I just realized that we didn't great each other when I arrived" he says

" hie to you too," I say.
"Is something going on between those two?" He asks.
" well I hope so, they would make an adorable couple don't you think"

"Definitely" he says.
" So it's a Sunday tomorrow what are you doing tomorrow?"he asks.
"Why?" I ask
" well I was hoping we could go out for a late lunch"
"Well let's wait for Ash and Ryan to come back so we can decide all together " I say.
I'm sure he doesn't mean just the two of us right?
I mean look at him and look at me.
He doesn't answer me but just stares at me quizzically for a few seconds
" okay I guess, let's find somewhere to sit while we wait for them then"
He then grabs my wrist and pulls me with him.
" can you slow down a bit?" I say while laughing.
"oops sorry, I forgot that you are a small little thing" he says with a smile and then he walks slower.
I feel butterflies in my tummy, I watch way too many Korean dramas and the male lead is always pulling the female lead just like how Adam is doing now.
And he also called me a small little thing, can he get any sweeter. If only he was interested in me.
"Ohh I see a free spot by trees" I say and I now I'm the one pulling him because someone might just steal the spot if we don't rush to it.
I hear Adam laughing but then all of a sudden he starts running to it.
"I saw someone eyeing the spot too so I had to make a run for it sorry" he says
How is he not breathless right now, he really is fit and there I am trying to catch my breath.
" you should probably sit down" he then pulls me down since he is already sitting.
Maybe the universe is really on my side because I fall on his lap and our lips meet.
We both freeze but we don't move away from each other.
