It's Saturday today and Ash came over to my house. We are currently sitting in my bedroom hanging out.

"So Jace called me yesterday" I say to Ash

"What did he want" She asks.

"Well he said he wanted to talk to me to set things right. He said he heard the rumors that he hooked up with Sam and he said it's not true. He told me that he just wants a chance to prove his innocent and that he really cares about me.

" let me guess you fell for his pile of shit didn't you" she says and rolls her eyes.
"Ray, didn't I tell you what he said about you at Toni's party?"

"I know and I believe you, but maybe it started out that way as a bet and all and then during the course of our relationship he started having feelings for me"

"Can I ask you a question?"she says.

" Yeah sure"

"Has Jace ever introduced you any of his friends? I would not have known you guys were in a relationship if I hadn't been present on the day of the bet and I was there by coincidence since I was at a sleepover at Toni's house that day. Has he went out on his way to show you that he cares about you"

"well we always go out on picnics and they were always romantic. He also said that he just wanted me to himself. I also told Jace that I do not like going out I am more of an introvert that's why he doesn't ask me to go to his parties. The first time we started dating he asked me to go his parties but he declined"

"don't you think that maybe he wanted you to go to that party so he can show his friends that he won the bet and you agreed to date him? He wants to keep you to himself, that's just bullshit and he know it. Ray, you're such an innocent soul. Well I guess there is nothing I can do to pursue you not to go meet up with Jace but could you try to open your eyes a bit. Where are you guys going to meet up anyway? Let me guess you're going for a picnic in the woods am I right? How about you aks him to take you on a real date. Maybe where I work? Just try ask him that and see what he says. "

I look down, I know at the back of my mind that Ash is right, Jace never wanted us to go out in public and when we did it was at a place I knew we would not meet any of his real friends. I don't know how the bet was suppose to go honestly. Was he suppose to ask me out and dump me or was he suppose to date me for a while and break my heart or did he keep up the pretence so that he can benefit from me helping him out with his school work. I don't know what to think anymore.

"Well I see I gave you a lot to think about. I have to get to work. My shift today starts at 2pm and it's already 11. So I will talk to you later okay. love you" she then kisses me on my cheek and leaves.

Ash finally showed me what true friendship is. I quickly get up and go to my Rainbow book and stars. I write down the day and put a Blue star against the pink Page.

I think it's finally time I talk to my father. I walk to his bedroom and knock on the door. I hear a muffled come in before I enter.
My dad is sitting at the work desk when I enter. He looks up at me and smiles at me.
"Heyy Fluffy"
I cringe at that remembering what Samantha said.

"good morning dad, I was wondering if we could maybe talk?" I ask.

"sure I love talking" he laughs.
He then closes his laptop and gives me his full attention I don't even know were to start.
