2002 Rainbow Kisses

Chapter 7

I am currently walking around school looking for Sam. It is already 11am and Sam has not collected her half of the assignment from me. I wonder when she is planning on submitting her work.

I have been looking for Sam for over an hour after my morning classes.
She was not answering her phone but I saw her before my first lecture at 7am so I know she is in school.
It's a shame we don't have any classes together today.

I have been to places were Sam always is in school with her friends but I did not find her. I turn back to go to the library atleast and maybe call her later. Oh I did not check the gym, maybe she doing her exercises or something.
I am passing one of the classes closest to the gym when I hear her voice.

"Did you see what she is wearing today though?totally embarrassing"

"Why do you still hang around her anyway Sam?" another girl asks her.

"she is my confidence booster honestly,she is everything I never want to be, that's why I keep her around, to always remind my self of what I never want to become" says says proudly
They all laugh, I don't even know how many people are in there. I wonder who they are talking about but that is just cold, I have never heard Sam talk about anyone like this. I want to move away but I just can not help but continue to eavesdrop on their conversation.

"Sam that's so evil" a second voice adds with amusement in their voice.

"that's nothing, I realized I was a real bitch when I convinced her that her boyfriend was pretty much loyal to her when I hooked up with him just last week at his party, and let me tell you she doesn't know what she is missing out on because dammnn that guy knows what he is doing. But on the real though how does she expect to keep a boyfriend when she won't even get intimate with him. Little miss Innocent."

I decide to just take a look into the room through one of the back windows. So I know who she is with.
She is with Ally, Toni and Jessica, her psychology mates and the girls she always goes with to the college parties and there is also the waitress from the restaurant I was at with my dad and Nikki, I did not know she went to this school.

Ally laughs so hard, and finally adds "Sam you are my new hero"

She smiles like she is really proud of herself.
"I still can not get over her name though. RAINBOW, with the way she dresses her name should be black Rainbow because there is nothing colorful about her"

She is talking about me? My best friend is talking about me. I don't know if I should scream or what, should I leave, what should I do. Should I let them know that I am listening to them.

"We should definitely start calling her that, Black Rainbow" they all chuckle at that

"little miss perfect claims to be soo smart and clever but she is soo dumb that she does not realize that she has been doing all my assignments. All I have to do is to come up with some excuse not to do it and there is she is she offers, my very own ticket to getting a degree"

"maybe you could get her to help us out also you know" Ally chimes in.

I can not take this any longer, I made a decision, I might as well make my presence known.

I go to the door and open it. They all stop talking and turn to the door. They just gawked at me.
"Do you think she heard that?" Toni asks.
"I will go with yes, looking at how bloched her eyes look" Ally chips in.

"well this is awkward" Jessica said.
Sam just has a bored look on her face but I can see that she looks a bit pale.
I bet she still wanted to use me a bit more before throwing me out like yesterday's trash.
