The next day:
Sifiso didn't really want to do the white wedding "into yabelungu yelo"(it's for white people) that's what he said when I told him about it but I forced it, I really want to have a white wedding, and now it's happening.
--
I am getting married to the love of my life today. I am nervous but excited at the same time. We are going to have the wedding at Eden Gardens, a very beautiful park or garden in Umhlanga East. I woke up at about 7:30am(I was very tired from the Zulu wedding yesterday) bathed and got dressed into a random red dress with black sandals, we were doing to do make up and all of that when we reached Umhlanga. Itumeleng and the rest are done bathing and getting dressed at 8:45am. We take all that we are doing to need. The mothers and grannies are done thier hygiene process so basically all the women of the Ndlanzi and Mkhize family are leaving now.
--
We arrived at about 12:30pm and I'm getting stressed because the wedding is supposed start at 2pm, we have not done make up but atleast the decor and catering is here. We booked the whole garden so there won't be any people that we don't know coming here. Itumeleng starts doing my makeup and another girl named Amukelekile does my hair. Itu owns a beauty salon called Itu's beauty salon so she called all employees and staff to help us because there is alot of us! It's me and my bridesmaids, my mother and 3 aunts, my mother in law and 4 of my aunts in law and then it was the grannies who just wanted to do thier hair only. I really hope that the men have arrived by now, I'm literally freaking out now.

It's 1pm and we are done makeup and hair, the men came a few minutes ago, everything is going according to plan. Everything is ready and set up, it's time for me to get married to the love of my life.--
-the following part of this insert will be written in third person POV-Amanda looked ravishing in her white wedding dress. She looked like Cinderella herself. Her heart was beating fast. She looked besides her. Her father, Mandla was there smiling assuringly to her. "You've got this" Mandla says. Amanda nods. They start the walk down the aisle. Everyone is in awe of Amanda, some are complimenting her, some are crying and some are taking pictures but she was focused on one person-Sifiso. His eyes never left hers, it was as if they were glued onto her. He was so amazed at this beautiful woman walking towards him. His eyes looked teary, he really couldn't believe this sight. She is really an angel sent to him from God. Amanda finally arrived to stand infront of him. She was not wearing a vail because she was not a virgin but that didn't matter to Sifiso. "Take good care of her, Mkhize. This is my eldest daughter and I love her very much" Mandla says. Sifiso nods, he couldn't find the words. Mandla smiled at Amanda then walked away to his seat. Sifiso stared at her so much, thinking about how beautiful she looked, she was a beauty. He felt a tear roll down him cheek and quickly tried wiped it off. "A man does not cry" he said to himself. Amanda was a mess right now, crying her eyeballs out. She was crying because of how much she loved him. It hurt that make. The audience was also very emotional. Sifiso didn't want to see her crying, even if it was tears of joy. He wiped her tears and leaned in to hug her. "I love you" he whispered into her ear. Amanda nodded then stopped crying. The pastor started to speak:" erm okay, that was very emotional for us all.. the couple has decided to say their own vows so let us just let them do what they want" Sifiso decided to start. He didn't prepare anything, he just wanted to speak from the heart, like he always did. " Ngiya khumbula ngiqala ukuhlangana nawe. You looked so formal and gorgeous ngavele ngathatheka ngobuhle bakhobut it was just that. That day I was angry for some reason, angisazi nami but when you looked at me I just fell in love nje. Yoh I remember asking you out ayi, sidlula ezintweni ezinzima"the crowd laughed (I remember the day I first met you. I was taken by your beauty. I don't know. We come from tough times) " kodwa angikaze ngizisole nakanye. Ngikuthanda MaNdlanzi. You are my soulmate, the one and only woman for me. Akekho onjengawe. I love you and you only. There's nobody else engingathanda ukuwaka ikhaya. Ngifuna ukukhulisa Isibongo sakaMkhize nawe. Inhliziyo yami eyakho, wena wedwa futhi, ngicela ungakungabazi lokho. Yazi kumnandi manje ukuthi sengiyakwazi ukuk'biza ngoMam'Mkhize, Mrs Mkhize wami. Yaze yagcwala inhliziyo yami ngothando"( but I will never regret myself. I love you. There is nobody like you. There is nobody I would like to make a house with other than you. I want to grow the surname of Mkhize with you. My heart is yours, you alone. It's so nice to call you Mrs Mkhize)
Thank God for waterproof makeup otherwise Amanda would have been a mess.
"Wena uyindoni yamanzi yami. Abanye abathi'My African Queen' ngale ndandatho ngithi ngizoba nawe ngazo zonke izikhathi, injabulo, inhlungu, yonke into. Ngiyathembisa KuNkulunkulu naku bantu baKe ukuthi ngizoba nawe ekuguleni basekupheleni. Sizohlakaniswa ukufa. ( he says this while putting on the ring) ngikuthanda Mrs Mkhize"(you are my dark beauty, some say my African Queen. With this ring I say I will be with you in all times. Happiness, hurt, everything. I promise to God and his people that I will be with you in sickness and in health)
The audience started cheering. It was now Amanda's turn.
She clears her throat. " Ndicela ukuthetha isiXhosa tuu" the crowd laughs. " It's my mother language! Erm okay. Sthandwa sami.. ayi. Nami ndiyavuma, ukuhlangana kwethu was a bit weird but ke.. yazi I have never been so happy in my life. Like ndonwabile, you treat me so right and you love me so much but sometime ndibuye ndoyike because we love each other so friking much. You have changed my life, but for the best. I love you with all my heart Mkhize. I remember when we just started dating and you said"ungangibizi ngegama, ngibize ngoMkhize" ayi shame!" The crowd laughs. "I was so shocked! I thought that you were some arrogant jerk like my ex but you are so different and I love you. Yazi I used to swear when I was younger, that I would never marry a Zulu man but look now, never say never ladies" the crowd laughs again. " But I don't regret myself and I am sure that I will never. Thank you so much for loving me so much, sthandwa senhliziyo yami, Gcwabe, Mkhize, Khabazela kaMavovo!" She takes the ring. "With this ring I make a promise to love you, care for you and always be with you. I promise to be a good wife and future mother. I promise to be with you through sick and health, through problems and smooth days. I love you thandolwami. Till death do us part" ( please may I speak Xhosa. My love, I also agree, our meeting was weird. I am happy. I am sometimes scared. I remember when you said" don't call me by name, call me Mkhize") the pastor was given the microphone. " That was beautiful" he prayed over the relationship. "Ayi ke, your favourite part" the audience laughed. "Mkhize, you may kiss your wife" Sifiso didn't waste anytime. Their kiss was filled with so much passion and love, it was amazing.

Back to Amanda's POV 😀I was so busy attending old colleagues, greeting them, saying thank you as they congratulated me and giving them some cake. The ceremony went very well. We took pictures and cake was served a few hours ago, the speeches happened while we were eating. I am so happy right now but I just want to be with my husband and him alone.
--
I finished talking to the last colleagues and went into the house. I am so happy that the day was a success but I just want my husband now. We decided to go to a hostel just for today. Our honeymoon is going to be after I do my 'makoti duties' which is 2 to 4 weeks. We had the most amazing day in the world, I am grateful to everyone who made it a success.
