“Are we really going to wait for him to wake up?“ Jin Ling asked. It had been two days since the incident and Xiumin still hadn't wake up. The juniors were getting annoyed now.

If Zizhen knew that this would have caused them to wait for this long, he wouldn't have hit Xiumin.

“Why is he taking so long to wake up? It was just a tiny scratch,” Zizhen sighed in despair. He lied down on the floor, next to Xiumin's bed while Jingyi sat beside him. Jin Ling and Sizhui were on the other side of the bed, sitting on the floor as well.

Wang Faxu was the only one standing. “You hit him with all your spiritual power. He doesn't even have a core. Do you think your tiny scratch was really a tiny scratch now?“

Zizhen remained quiet. He admitted, it was really his fault to act on impulse.

“I'm hungry. Let's go to the restaurant in front, over there and eat something,” Jingyi said. As soon as he said this, his stomach growled loudly. It could have almost woken up Xiumin.

Jin Ling, “I don't recall starving you—”

Sizhui placed his palm on Jin Ling's mouth, stopping him from speaking any further that could have resulted into a war.

“Come on, let's go now!“ Jingyi stood up, brushing the dust from his attire. He then lent his hand towards Zizhen who gladly accepted it and stood up beside Jingyi.

Sizhui and Jin Ling also got up, both counting their money to pay for the food. They were sure that stingy people—ahem, Jingyi and Zizhen, wouldn't not pay at all.

“Wang Faxu, come with us. You haven't left this room for two days. I'm sure you didn't eat anything as well for the past few days,” Zizhen said.

Jingyi wiped his head, almost in a demonic speed towards Zizhen. He couldn't believe his ears. Sizhui and Jin Ling were also taken by surprise.

Zizhen really said this?!

“Did Jingyi hurt your head that much?“ Wang Faxu said, frowning—very worried for the Ouyang.

Zizhen sighed in annoyance. “Are you coming or not?“ He asked again.

Wang Faxu rolled his eyes. “Alright, let's go.“

Little did they know…

“…And ten pieces of chicken wings. That'd be all!“ Jingyi smiled at the waiter. The poor waiter was almost sweating by the number of food Jingyi ordered. It was indeed a profit today. He left right after taking down the order.

Zizhen wiped out his pouch and shook it up and down on the table. He then proceeded to show his outer pockets, flipping it inside out.

“What the fuck are you doing?“

“As you can see, I have no money at all. Find someone else to pay for you, because I absolutely won't,” Zizhen gave a polite smile—sarcastically.

Jingyo gasped, clearly offended by what Zizhen had said. “Excuse you, I can pay for myself just fine,” He wrapped his arms around.

Zizhen shrugged nonchalantly. “As you say. It's not a problem to me.“

Jin Ling sighed loudly. He had enough of those two always fighting over the smallest thing possible.

“I wonder, if everything is still the same in our world,” Sizhui suddenly brought up the topic. He looked at the boys with a conflicted look. Everyone turned silent.

“It has to be, right?“ Jin Ling said. He didn't know how he was trying to convince, himself or the rest. Nobody knew for sure what was awaiting them.

“…”

“Will we even go back?“ Jingyi asked. His question remained unanswered. It was a question that no one could answer. They didn't know.

“Let's not think like that,” Everyone turned to Sizhui, who broke the silence. “Till now, everything has gone somewhat good. We'll just have to wait for Xiumin to wake up.“

“I don't understand why are we depending on him so much. We can go and meet Sect Leader Zhao. Are we forgetting him or what?“ Zizhen raised the question.

Sect Leader Zhao…

“Shit! We totally forgot him!“ Jingyi exclaimed.

“Young Masters! Here is your food! Enjoy!“

At the same moment, the same waiter came back with a tray filled with food. He also had other waiters behind him, following him with food as well. It was just that Jingyi's order was too much…

Jingyi stood up and took the food from the waiter's hand. He turned towards the rest of the gang. “Well, Zhao can wait, can't he? Let's eat first?“

Zizhen sighed. But it was not like he could say anything in front of Jingyi. The latter was happy with his food.

Little did they know…

By the time they finished their meal and went back to the medic room, Xiumin was not there anymore.

The room was a mess. Everything was upside down. The medicines were thrown on the floor, the bed was flipped. Everything was a mess.

“What happened here?“ Sizhui asked, mainly to nobody. Everyone else was just as confused as he was.

Wang Faxu looked everywhere at the mess. His heart tugged in a painful way. He started to look everywhere, to find something. He finally fell down on the floor, the shock and panic getting to him.

“Xiumin…”

Zizhen walked towards him, kneeling down beside him. He placed a hand around his shoulder as he let Wang Faxu's head rest on his chest, comforting him.

“We'll find him, don't worry, Faxu.“

Sizhui looked around, walking slowly through the mess. “He woke up. Xiumin woke up. That's why there is this mess. He must have fought back!“

“There has to be some trails that he left behind. I'm sure that he is at least that smart to do so,” Jingyi said.

“It is no use. He wouldn't do that,” Jin Ling sighed. He was starting to get an idea of what was happening.

“Why?“

“Because according to him, we know who's behind his kidnapping.“

Jingyi looked at Jin Ling in confusion for a decent moment until he finally realised. “It's Zhao!“
