Tantra - a Dwapar yug adventure [Ongoing]

Chapter 1 - Confusion

"Ahhhhhh!!"

Subhadra runs to her brother's room seeing their guest screaming, she mumbled to herself 'why is she so loud?'

Tantra woke up with a head start, she couldn't understand where she was. The room she was in was huge and full of extravagant items. Peacock statues, huge square windows and intricately designed mirrors felt completely foreign to her. It did not look like she was in the 21st century, it looked like a high budget serial drama.

Krishna saw a panicked Tantra and smiled mischeviously

"Sakhi, hope you slept well. You could have called for me gently you know"

"I am not your sakhi and you can't fool me easily. Who are you and where am I?"

"You already know who I am, you just have to let yourself believe it. For the second question, we are in Dwaraka"

"Dwaraka as in the Dwaraka? Gujarat?"

"It is not called Gujarat in this Yug but yes, you are right"

"and you're God? I am really supposed to believe that?"

"Well who elso can know that you lock yourself in your room and pretend you're role palying different characters from a story?"

"That's a pretty common secret Kanha"

"Is it common to be scared of butterflies?"

Tantra was shocked to see the so called Kanha know her phobia which she had kept well hidden

"If you still don't believe me, why don't you look outside the window, maybe it'll clear your doubts"

Tantra peeked outside the window, there were white cows grazing the green countryside. Gopis washed clothes in the river and made makhan under the trees. Huts were built on the banks of the river.

Tantra gasped in shock, she couldn't believe her eyes. Was she really in Dwapar yug she thought.

"Yes sakhi, we are"

"But I belong in Kali Yug, wait! you read my mind?"

Krishna smirked in answer

"Don't read my mind Kanha! It's not fair"

"Okay, I will not"

Kanha smiled at Tantra's antics, he offered her fruits to eat. 

"You must be tired, eat these. You will need these, no snacks will be found here"

"Wait! No snacks, no jeans, no wifi and my parents?!!"

"Ah, I have no choice in this but I have to tell you that you will have to stay in Dwapar yug. Going back to Kali yug is not possible. Two versions of you have been created, one is currently in Kali yug and the other is you"

"So my parents will not know that I am missing?"

"For them, nothing has changed. Your replica is in college attending classes now"

"But I don't know anyone here. I don't have any friends or family who I care about or who care about me here"

"You have me, Subhadhra, Dau and everone else in Dwaraka"

"But you're all gods, I am just a mere human"

"You're here for a reason Tantra, I will be with you in every step of your journey here"

"Why me?"

"It is for you to discover sakhi"

Tantra just sat on her bed, her energy was drained. She wondered how she could possibly survive.

Kanha placated her as she seemed lost. For once, she just held on to the hope that things will work out.
