Tantra - a Dwapar yug adventure [Ongoing]

Chapter 4

Tantra woke up to the sound of the horses neighing and bustle of the enormous markets surrounding Hastinapur's palace. She pulled the screen of her palak to see the gliterring and extravagant palace of the Kurus. She thought to herself, what a shame that such beauty would be squandered due to ignorance and hate.

Bhadra shook her from her thoughts, she pulled her from the palak to walk up the sculptured staircase of the palace. There stood Hastinapur's elders, both of them approached Maharani Gandari who had her aarti plate to welcome them. Kunti, Maharaj, Mantri Vidur and Pitamah Bheeshma greeted them warmly as well. Kunti ushered her niece and Tantra inside, they reached her room. 

"I am so glad you have both decided to come here atlast, Krishna told me all about you Tantra", Kunti said
"Oh! He did, good thing. I was wondering how I could possibly explain time travel without sounding crazy", Tantra chuckled

Bhadra's eyes searched the room in anticipation, Tantra elbowed her and teased her with Arjun's name.

"Wait! How did you know I was searching for him?", Bhadra whisper yelled

"I am from the future remember", Tantra winked at the now blushing Subhadra

"My sons will be arriving tomorrow morning, you both rest until then. I will have the dasis help you to your rooms", Kunti said

Tantra and Subhadra thanked their aunt and left to their rooms.
