Virgil had found himself being chased around the mindscape with Roman hot on his heels as he hurtled down one corridor to the next, trying to escape the other. Bellowing could be heard, accompanied by thundering footsteps.

The smaller boy found himself hurrying down the stairs towards the living room and kitchen, where the other two sides had resided for the afternoon. Both Patton and Logan turned their attention towards the commotion that had just entered the room.

Logan sat on the sofa with a book, not bothered by the disruption. Patton remained by the sink as he put a few plates away. Virgil ran into the kitchen towards Patton, crouching behind the counters to hide him from the creative side.

"VIRGIL!" Roman shrieked as he descended the stairs, fuming as his face flushed red with rage. Logan remained nonchalant as he continued to read his book that had caught his attention. As did Patton, who continued back to the task at hand.

Roman remained at the bottom of the stairs catching his breath, balancing himself against the bannister for support. Virgil remained behind the counter, hand over his mouth to stifle his laughter and not give himself away.

After a moment more of silence, Roman spoke up. "Either of you seen Virgil?" His voice raspy and harsh as he continued to steady his breathing. Logan, who remained seated on the sofa, shook his head, paying no mind to what sort of trouble the anxious side may have gotten himself into this time.

"He ran through the kitchen ... no idea where he went. " He shrugged as he glanced at Roman sympathetically.

The creative side nodded in understanding. "Alright. Thanks, Padre." Roman left, heading back up the stairs slowly.

After Patton put the last plate away, he glanced down where Virgil was crouched. "He's gone; you can get up now." Patton's gaze never left Virgil as he gave the younger male a pointed look. Before the fatherly figure could speak up, Logan beat him to it.

"What is it this time, Virgil?" He spoke from the sofa, his attention never wavering from the book.

"I may have found a diary of Roman's lying around" He smirked as he held it up. "I'll give it back ... eventually." He shrugged with a mischievous look, contradicting his oh-so-innocent tone.

He hadn't noticed the creative side sneaking down the stairs and catching him in the act. Subtly Princey snuck up, blocking the smaller males' escape.

Virgil's attention was caught by Roman clearing his throat, causing the anxious side to whip around at lightning speed, only to realise both Patton and Roman had set him up. "You sold me out - how could you! I trusted you." Virgil half-heartedly gasped at the betrayal.

"Thanks, Padre!" Roman called over Virgil towards the fatherly figure.

"Patton, you can't do this! Come on, not to me." Virgil begged, knowing he was in trouble for stealing Roman's private diary.

"Roman, you can handle this, correct?" Patton asked, standing in the kitchen behind Virgil, leaning against a counter.

"Perhaps give him a head start?" Logan suggested from the sofa, which caused Virgil to scold Logan.

"Not you too!" He whined.

"Fine, A five-second head start." Virgil readied himself, knowing that nothing good would come from being caught.

Princey stepped aside, allowing Virgil to bolt out of the room quickly. Patton chuckled as he watched the scene unfold. He momentarily turned his attention back to others. "Go easy on him, alright ..." The father figure walked past Roman, gently touching his shoulder. Patton received a nod in return before removing his hand. He took to the sofa as Roman took to following after Virgil.

Now all that remained was Patton and Logan. "How long do you think it will take for Roman to catch him?" The logical side questioned as he looked at the moral side in thought.

At that moment, a loud shriek was heard from within the mindscape, causing Patton to laugh and for Logan to crack a small sigh rolling his eyes. "Not long, it seems, the kids fast ... I'll give him that." For the remainder of the afternoon, there were no more disturbances from either of the younger sides. Allowing Logan to focus on finishing his book and Patton to concentrate on cleaning and cooking dinner.
