After a full day of work, with all their jobs completed, it was nearing 11 pm. Patton had just finished cleaning up the kitchen with Logan's help. Patton stifled a tired yawn, hiding it behind his hand as he put the last plate away in the cupboard. Logan took over, retrieving the plate from the other. "I got this, Pat; why don't you go and sit down? You are exhausted," The logical side stated softly before Patton nodded half-heartedly in agreement, allowing the other male to take over.

No more than five minutes later, Patton was located on the sofa, lying down as fatigue took hold of him. Logan had checked off the last of their jobs before returning to the moral side. "Patton?" Logan's tone was soothingly calm and quiet as he shook the other gently to awaken him. "Why don't we head up to the bed?" He suggested, knowing that the other needed it. Patton groggily woke as he sat up, allowing the logical side to assist him.

As they walked down the hall, upon approaching Patton's door, the moral side turned before Logan stopped him, catching his hand in the others. "My room tonight ... " He smiled as Patton gazed into Logan's eyes, only responding with a soft, gentle nod. Logan led Patton to his room, opening the door, so the other could enter. "Make yourself at home", Logan hummed blissfully.

Patton wandered over towards the bed, taking a seat. He'd always loved Logan's room; it gave him a sense of freedom. All the while, Logan had gotten a t-shirt and some bottoms that Patton could change into as he brought them over. They changed into different clothing, Patton in the bathroom and Logan in the bedroom.

As Patton came out, he noticed Logan lying on the bed, wearing a black and blue checked top, with plain black sweat pants, holding a book he seemed rather invested in. Patton had been wearing blue sweatpants and a white top. Patton hadn't realised he was staring until Logan looked up at him with an innocent smile. "Come lay down." Logan gently patted the spot beside him, indicating where he wanted Patton to be.

Without questioning it, Patton swiftly made his way over and onto Logan's bed after taking his glasses off and placing them on the black nightstand. Before he lay down and cuddled into Logan's side whilst resting his head upon the logical side's chest, Logan moved his free hand to caress and become entangled in the other's hair. Patton relaxed almost instantaneously as his eyes fluttered shut. "What are you readin'," The smaller male inaudibly asked, trying to stay awake.

"What we see in our stars."

"Can you read to me, Lo?" Patton asked as he nuzzled against the other lovingly.

Logan began reading in a soothingly calm, laidback voice, causing Patton to fall further into his slumber. "To take a moment and gaze up is to connect to an ancient human experience. It can be a great source of wonder and awe." He began to read slowly before noticing the other's features and body had relaxed completely. "Sleep well, My love", He placed a tender yet affectionate kiss on the other's head, only to continue reading his book while still carding his hand through the moral side's hair.

The room fell into a still yet comfortable state as the two resided within its space. Logan reading a book while Patton lay sleeping on his chest. Before long, the other joined morality in sleep as he set aside the book and removed his glasses. Separating himself from the other, a soft purr was heard. Logan watched as Patton rolled over, clutching a pillow to find warmth. Smiling fondly, he observed, unable to comprehend how he was feeling.

He scooted into the back of the smaller male, as he placed his arms around his frame, pulling Patton into him, only to be greeted with Patton scooting further into Logan as a soft and content sigh was heard. "Love you, Lo", The smaller of the two mumbled, seemingly to have woken up briefly from his slumber.

Logan buried his nose into the other's neck, "I love you too, My Heart", He replied lovingly. Both males fell into a peaceful sleep, staying in the company of the other till sunrise.
