“YN?” Eunwoo’s voice was quiet, hesitant like he already knew the answer she was about to give.
She turned to him slowly, eyes narrowed, voice shaking not with fear, but with betrayal.
“You?” she said, her tone a blend of disbelief and pain.
“Listen I can explai—” he started, stepping closer.
“No.” Her answer was immediate, sharp.
“YN, please, just list—”
“All this time…” she cut him off, her voice rising with anger. “You’ve been lying to me. You betrayed my trust. You used me to help them.”
Eunwoo looked devastated, his voice faltering. “YN, please—I can explain.”
“I don’t need—”
“I—”
He couldn’t finish.
The sound of heavy footsteps and weapons cocking echoed into the room. Jackson’s men had arrived.“It’s your end today,” Jackson’s voice rang out from behind the group, laced with cruelty.
The sound of fists hitting flesh exploded into the room as Jackson’s men began attacking the Kim siblings and Eunwoo without hesitation.
“We don’t have weapons!” RM shouted, blocking a punch with his forearm.
“Then we fight with our strength and body!” Jin called out in response, his voice commanding and fierce.
“Let’s start then!” J-Hope added, and the brothers threw themselves into the fight. It was chaos.
The room filled with shouts, groans, gasps, and the brutal sound of punches landing and bones cracking. Bodies collided, furniture shattered, the air thick with adrenaline and tension.
YN wasn’t one to scare easily. She had stood her ground in worse situations. But right now, her heart pounded in fear not just because of the violence, but because deep down she knew: Jackson had the upper hand. He had planned everything. He had weapons. Strategy. Men. They had only their fists and fury.
Lost in her thoughts, she didn’t notice one of Jackson’s men sneaking up behind her, raising his gun—not to shoot, but to strike her down.
Eunwoo’s pov:
I was in the middle of the fight—my knuckles bruised, blood on my face—but my eyes were searching for her. For YN.
My mind wasn’t focused on the enemies I couldn’t stop watching her. I needed to know she was okay. Then I saw it. The man behind her. The gun raised. She wasn’t moving. She didn’t see it. I stopped everything. I didn’t think. I ran straight to her.
My fist collided with the guy’s face, hard. He staggered backward, stumbled, and after one final blow, he dropped to the floor, unconscious.
I turned to YN immediately.
“Are you okay?” I asked, scanning her face, her arms, her body. She seemed fine.
“I’m fine. Thanks,” she replied.
But her tone—it wasn’t the voice I knew. It was cold. Distant. My heart sank.I smiled, just slightly, but it didn’t reach my eyes. “Stay close to m—”
“So Jackson can kill me, right?” she interrupted with a scoff.
The words hit me like a knife.
“No,” I said quickly. “Because I don’t want you to get hurt. Even if I’m the one who already hurt you… I swear I have my reasons.”
She didn’t answer.
I took a step forward. “Answer m—”
“You jerk! Don’t you dare come near him!” YN’s voice burst out suddenly, loud and sharp.
I flinched. I thought she was talking to me. But then I saw the man behind me blood dripping from his mouth, collapsed. And I looked back at her.
Her right hand was balled into a fist.
There was blood on her knuckles.
She had taken him down herself.“We’ll talk about this later,” she said quickly. I nodded.
Eunwoo’s pov:
She still cares. Even after all this, she stepped in to protect me. I’m sorry, YN. Truly. And just like that, we were fighting again. Then suddenly Jackson screamed…
His voice cut through the noise, loud and filled with fury. Everything paused. Everyone turned. What now?
