11 | ⏳ Sanji's scars ⌛️

"Sanji..?"

Sanji was thrown on the ground by two guards in front of Zoro. He was wounded badly.

His clothes were ripped and gently falling off his shoulders, revealing the bruises and cuts that were scattered around his body. His closed eyes were red and his lips were parted, letting blood run down his chin. Sanji was unconscious, Zoro couldn't tell if he was dead or alive.

"Like what you see, Zoro?" 

"What the fuck did you do to him!?"

"Hahaha, he's now mine. I'm bringing back old traditions, I'm going to breed him and have genies of my own, so I can dominate this corrupt world!"

"You're sick!"

"Watch what you say, or I might kill him."

Zoro shut his mouth immediately.

"I give you two options, Zoro. You can either die here with your pathetic friends, or you can let me sell you as a working slave. What do you choose?"

"Neither of those options sound good,"

A voice spoke from behind Overkill before he was slashed in half.

"Tra-guy?!" Luffy shouted. The heart pirates stood at the door smiling with Law in front of them.

"Fufufu, I guess that signaller I gave you came in handy," Robin said.

"Indeed, we came right away when Bepo received your signal. I'm happy we got here in time." Law said before walking over to the cage where the other Strawhats were, leaving the man dead on the ground. Law cut one of the bars and moved them out of the way so the crew could squeeze through. As he did, Zoro ran over to Sanji, picking him up and checking if he was still breathing.

"Zoro! Is he alright?" Chopper shouted as he ran over to them.

"He's fine, there's nothing too major wounds that I can currently see," Zoro said, sweeping Sanji's hair out of the way to get a better look at him.

"Come and carry him back to the ship so I can bandage him," Chopper said before dragging Zoro outside.

"We'll deal with the locals and try to clean up this mess!" Luffy shouted back at them before they left.

(On the ship)

Zoro placed Sanji onto the bed as his eyes slowly fluttered open.

"Z-Zoro...?" Sanji mumbled. Zoro chuckled and placed his hand on Sanji's head.

"Your safe now," Zoro said, smiling warmly.

"Thank you... for saving me." Sanji said, returning the soft smile.

"Zoro, do you mind stepping out for a minute? I need to check something," Chopper asked.

"Sure," Zoro said before straining up and walking outside.

A few minutes passed as Zoro leaned against the door. He was worried for Sanji, knowing he won't live much longer. He decided to not tell the crew anything, it would only make them sad.

"Zoro!" Chopper shouted from inside the room. Zoro burst in to see what was happening, laying eyes on Sanji who seemed to slowly be losing consciousness.

"What's happening?" Zoro said, his heart beating faster. He knew exactly what was happening.

"Sanji's vitals are slowing, I think he's about to die!" Chopper said, gaining the attention of the rest of the crew who had just arrived. Luffy and the others ran into the room, wondering what was happening.

"There's no saving him." Zoro said, making everyone turn to him. He looked at his feet as he continued to speak.

"I can't help him, if I make another wish he'll die, but if I don't, he'll also die. So I can't do anything." Zoro said before kneeling next to Sanji who was hyperventilating.

"What?" Luffy said.

"I read it in a book from one of the temples. If I don't make all three wishes in 7 days, he will die." Zoro said, tears starting to fall down his cheeks.

"Hey... don't cry. I'll always be with you." Sanji said through a small voice. The others started to cry as well, they didn't want to say goodbye like this.

"I-I love you, Sanji." Zoro said, gripping Sanji's hand and squeezing it tightly.

"Yeah... I guessed." Sanji said.

"No, you can't leave like this!"

"There's no saving me Zoro, just let me go..." and with those as his final words, Sanji closed his eyes.

"NO! SANJI!" Zoro cried, hugging onto Sanji as the rest of the crew watched, tears streaming down their faces.

"No! You can't leave me like this! I wish that we could live together until the day I die!"
