I am so happy with the way my game turned out. I played it last night, to make sure there were no bugs, and it ran perfectly. All of the animation is on point, the in game sounds are perfect. There's no way that I won't get an A on this project. As soon as I finished the game, I went onto Instagram and shared a link with Jack for the game. I also started a Youtube channel, so I can play games as well. The teacher finally finished playing my game to see how I did. He said it was the best one in the whole class. Which means, I am graduating with all A's. Graduation finally showed up that Saturday. All of the stuff in my house is in cardboard boxes, meaning I would have to dig for anything that I would need. "Dad. Are you coming to my graduation this afternoon". I know what he'll say. He say no and then start to beat me. "Of course not. I don't care". Just like I said. The belt comes out and I start to feel pain.

I walk out of the house in my graduation clothes. The school parking lot was full, as usual. I was elected to speak, by my teachers of course. I put my gown on and placed my graduation cap on my newly curled hair. "Wow Shelby. I never knew you could look so pretty". Jessica, the top of the food chain so to speak, looks at me. I curled my hair and put on some makeup before I left the house. I wanted to look great for my speech. "Of course you still look like a dork". Wow. Way to put me down. I walked out of the room with my head held high. Nothing is going to put me down. An hour later, we are sitting out on the field. I stand up to give my speech. "When we first arrived here, our teachers gave us what we needed to succeed. Some of us took it and threw it out, while others took it and soared. We graduate today not knowing what the future holds. The most nerdy could become successful in life. The popular kids can do something great, and the jocks can go on to play professionally. We can never know what the future will hold, but we can change how we make it turn out. Congratulations Class of 2015". I got lots of applause, mostly from parents and fellow nerds that I know. I received my diploma with highest honors. That will look good on any college application I send in. I drive home, with my cap, gown and diploma in the passenger seat. I can feel good knowing that I did my best.
