"What up nugget" Trey said coming downstairs into the basement
"Hey" I said while still editing the last of many video I need to post on my YouTube channel
"What you doing" he grabbed a gatorade out of the fridge and took a sip
"Editing these videos" I replied and he came to sit next to me
"Oh this shit nice" he said looking at the video clip that I was making sure was right
"Thanks" I smiled then saved the video and closed my laptop
"So you really taking this shit serious?" He asked and I nodded
"As serious as I can, I want people like me to know despite all odds being against us we can still flourish and accomplish what we want in life" I started to get comfortable as our conversation began
"If you need any help just let me know Ight" he responded and I nodded
"Oh, I've been looking at houses too for after graduation it's this one I really like and I've made enough to pay the deposit as well as the first 3 months of rent" I've always wanted my own place and everyone's known this about me but seeing as though my family is protective I don't know if they'd let me
"Why you telling me this. You already know imma be your next door neighbor no matter how far we gotta go" treat said turning the tv so he could play the game
"It's not you I'm worried about, It's Titi and Q. You know they're protective and it's on the other side of town I'm not sure they'd go for it. But I wouldn't technically be alone. Tae lives in that area and so does JJ" he nodded
"Might be able to help you with that" he said and I just know my face lit up
"If.." Damn it's always something with him
"What Trey" I asked cause this Nigga can't never to do a hoe a favor without getting shit in return
"If you get me a Date with JJ" I laughed hard as hell
"JJ? My bestie JJ? Jayla Marie Jones? The girl you said you wouldn't touch a day in your life when we was back in 9th grade and you were in 11th" I reminded him
"Yea go ahead laugh. But shii I've changed and matured and she's older. We not kids no more Dream and she really everything I want in a girl. Like I could see myself Marrying her for real" he said tryna get me to picture it
"What about that SaNie girl?" I asked and sucked his teeth
"Man fuck her! She 5 months pregnant and tryna pin that baby on me we been fucking for almost 3 months. Two months of missing time ain adding up" he said and I nodded
"Look if you do your part I'll see what I can do, also I have to do a walkthrough of the place Thursday like 2 hours before graduation. You can slide with me if you want" I said grabbing my thing
"Fashoo, you still having your graduation party right" he asked and I nodded before going into my room and taking a nap while waiting on two video to upload
