I'm blankly staring out of the window and the car stopping brings me back to the beautiful man singing badly along to Oasis' Wonderwall. He notices that I'm looking at him and he blushes a bit, clearly embarrassed he faces away from me. I tuck my hair behind my ears and think Wow Sade isn't this move just a little too cliched? Never-mind moment passed. I try to smooth out this awkward exchange by opening my mouth. "Oh look uhm Bethany's place." I never have an issue conversing with Jack.  He clears his throat and now he's back to his confident self. His bright blues are very hypnotic.

"So this is where I leave you, Sade?" He says in a calm voice. "It's been a long day. You should rest and we can do something together again under better circumstances." He smiles.

"Of course." I open the door to get out and grab my bags that are at my feet. My heart is beating rapidly and I'm not sure why. My hands are sweating and I can feel the bags slipping out of my hands. My vision goes blurry, it's difficult to breathe and everything goes black.

I wake up to the smell of Le Phil. Their Twice cooked Noodle soup is delish. I go to sit up and a pack of ice falls off my forehead. I touch the area the ice fell off and feel a bump on my forehead and it's a good sized one. I feel my neck and there's a huge cotton gauze on it. I must've passed out. I was pushing my self through what happened with Ronny and I paid the price.

I look at my surroundings and it's Bethany's place. She works her ass off and earns good money to live here. The apartment is clean and decorated with the furniture it came with. She does have a ton of pictures of family and friends in pretty frames.  It's very difficult not to love her. She's as close to a sister I'll ever have.

I'm about to call out for her when I hear her and Miles laughing. I step lightly into the other room as to not interrupt their conversation and I see both of them sitting with Jack.

"Oh honey come over" she waves to me and I walk over to her. She takes my hands and we start to swing our arms back and forth almost like school children . "We were all worried about you. I just changed your dressing. It got dirty when you fell." She says. I stand there unable to think clearly.  At that moment you could hear a crack.

The rain started harder and I could see the reflection of the lightning on the bowl of soup.
