I woke up later than expected sending me into a panic. I quickly grabbed some normal attire, not being my Akademiya uniform.

Before leaving I fed Scout and kissed him on his furry head. I left the house locking the door behind me before starting the my tedious journey. After much struggle I found the house tucked neatly near the main Akademiya. I knocked on the door and stepped back. After a few minutes the door unlocked and Alhaitham opened the door. "You're late." He said blandly. He let me in, closing the door behind me. He led me to what appeared to be a study. "Make yourself comfortable, Kaveh should be down soon." Alhaitham said as he opened a book. I looked around me while waiting.
The house was beautifully and carefully decorated, everything (Except the multitude of stacked books) had a place. "Alhaitham, Kaveh is your room mate?" Alhaitham sighed, "Unfortunately."
"Alhaitham, You needed me? This better be worth my time. I had to put a pause on my project for this." Kaveh called from the hallway. The blonde male walked into the room only to stop dead in his tracks. "Y/n?! What are you doing here?! Alhaitham, What's going on?" I waved awkwardly.
"I didn't know you were room mates with Alhaitham." Kaveh ran a hand through his hair, "I never intended you to find out."
"So, my reason of being here is that a mission came in from the Grand Sage, Cyno informed us. We are meeting up with him and Tighnari tonight at the Cafe." Kaveh nodded in understanding, still a look of surprise over his expression. "The Grand Sage you say? What's the mission on?" I sighed, "We don't know, Cyno decided to gatekeep."
"He recommended we get to know each other better which only leads me to believe that this research the Akademiya is doing is going to take a lot of my time." Alhaitham spoke finally "We should head over soon." Kaveh added. I nodded standing, everyone else following.
{Alhaitham's POV}
I followed Kaveh and (Y/n) out the door locking it behind me. After walking for a while we made it to the Cafe and we spotted Tighnari and Cyno in the back corner.
We found our seats and Tighnari spoke first, "Hello (Y/n), pleasure to meet you. I'm Tighnari, Forest Watcher of the Avidya Forest." Tighnari shook (Y/n's) hand in greeting. "So I'm sure everyone will get to know you better during the mission." Cyno spoke, "I'm sure you are wondering what the mission is," He brought his tone down, "Their has been some ruins some important Akademiya figures have recently been researching, only for them to mysteriously disappear. Some investigators were hired by the Akademiya only for them to disappear as well." (Y/n) interrupted, "so they are sending STUDENTS to investigate? That sounds ridiculous."
"Maybe, that's what I asked the Sage, but he simply put and end to it and said we need to get those researchers back alive." Cyno shook his head in annoyance. "Unfortunately for you, It's located in the far end of end of the desert." Everyone collectively groaned. "I would like to get moving in three days time so recommend you start packing. Make sure you bring water, extra food, and breathable clothing."
A little later we ended our group meeting and left for our homes.
