⚠️WARNING- DARK THEMES (Suicide, murder, ect.)
-3rd/2nd person-(Y/n's POV)
You went to bed early last night. Which wasn't the greatest idea on your behalf, you needed to get Akademiya work sorted out, written, and turned in. you had three essays due (These concerned you the least), 1 extra credit project (By extra credit, your master means mandatory), 2 historic texts you had to read and summarize. You were worried about the texts, they had to be translated. But like and idiot, you decided you didn't need to take the Old History language classes. These were particularly a pain, due to them being in Deshret tongue, which did not have a abundant amount of materials of the language in the Akasha. Most of this language was taught by old scholars passing the language down family lines.
You decided you would go to Alhaitham for help. You were basically friends. Right? You quickly got dressed in a simple white top and black bottoms, not your usual wear. You usually wore more complex and interesting attire. You fed scout kissed him on his snout, and left. Papers in hand, you walked enjoying the scenery of the city. When you actually had time to look at it, Sumeru was beautiful.
You took in the unusually cold air for the time of year and looked up. Dark grey clouds swarmed around over head. Of course.
You quickly ran to Alhaitham and Kevahs' home. You knocked on the door rapidly, "Alhaiham, open up! It's an emergency! Help!" You pleaded quickly and desperately. Surpisingly, Alhaitham threw open the door a look of concern on his face. "What? Are you hurt? What happened?"
You grinned slyly. "You were worried about me." Alhaitham's worried expression was replaced by his usual scowl. "No I don't. Just don't come to the door like someone's trying to kill you." He said sourly. You scoffed, "Yeah, yeah, okay."
Noticing the dark clouds threatening to pour on you two, he let you in. "What do you need? Shouldn't you be packing?" you shook your head.
"Not yet, I have a bunch of work due. The only problem is that I don't know how to translate Deshret tongue." You explained worried.
"Putting off work till the last minute? Sounds like a certain blonde I know." Alhaitham sighed, taking the text from your hands and examining it.
"Its called letting your ideas and thoughts marinate!" A voice from the back of the house called, "I suppose you wouldn't know that because the only thoughts in your head is how to wring me dry of Mora and leaving your books every where but the shelf." The voice finished angerily.
Alhaitham ignored the voice and turned back to you. "This is really complex stuff that I don't specialize in. Though, I have a friend who can help you. If your willing to put up with his insults and thick skull."
"Anything! Just please tell me who he is!" you whined like a child. To say you were stressing was an understatement.
"Alright, alright, stop whining, your giving me a headache." He growled in annoyance. You would have kept it up if he didn't have information you needed.
"Here, I wrote down an address. He isn't particularly fond of visitors, he studies this type of thing though, so I'm sure he will help if he's home." Alhaitham explained.
You nodded, "What makes you so sure he'll be eager to help? Who is he?" Alhaitham stopped you.
"Lets just say, you've met before." Alhaitham said walking you to the door and opening it for you.
"Such a gentleman, thank you." You teased, Alhaitham narrowed his eyes before closing the door.
You suppose you were bit annoyed he wouldn't tell you who this mysterious scholar was, but you kind of lived for the guessing on who it might be.
