PORT ORMOS. The largest trading port in the entirety of Sumeru. Y/n never has been, due to not much history taking place at the port. Well, besides the founding of it.

Y/n gawked at the huge tall buildings as she trailed behind the group of scholars.

"Look! Y/n! I helped design those buildings!"
Kaveh smiled and presented his work with pride.

"This place is huge. Where do we even start?" Lacy asked as she turned in place to watch the countless activities and happenings going on at the moment.

"I think it would be best if we split up. We will never cover the entire port if we stay in a small group. Alhaitham and Kaveh can cover the docks, Dehya and I can tackle the trading center, and Cyno and Y/n can work on the sky walk." Tighnari said with certainty in his tone.

Y/n casted an exasperated look in his direction, and Tighnari flagged her over. He took a low, quiet tone.

"As you are aware, for a project to go according to plan, you must all work together. Well, you and Cyno aren't exactly friendly. I really need you to take this as a learning experience and figure out how to set aside your differences and work together." Tighnari explained in a whisper.

"Um, actually, HE doesn't want to get along. I have been nothing but friendly." Y/n said in an accusatory voice.

Tighnari raised his brows, obviously not amused.

Y/n and Cyno came up empty handed, as did the rest of the group.

"Well, what do we do now?" Dehya said frustrated.

The group fell quiet for a moment before Alhaitham spoke. "We could always use the restricted library at the Akademiya."

"Absolutely not." Cyno cut in, crossing his arms and shook his head. His expression was stern.

"Why not?" Dehya furrowed her brows in confusion. "You both have access to it, correct?"

"I'm not going behind the Sages backs to pursue this lost god." Cyno spoke harshly.

"We are just using a resource not exploiting it for personal gain." Alhaitham countered.

"It is for a personal gain. We have already completed this objective. We gathered info on the god, end of story." Cyno huffed narrowing his eyes.

"Look, lets go back to the Sumeru City and refill our supplies, I got a job in town anyways." Dehya announced.

Cyno pinched his nose bridge, annoyed.

Tighnari shook his head, "I concur. Alhaitham, Kaveh?"

"I don't care." Alhaitham shrugged.

"Sure. Y/n?" Kaveh nodded.

"Yeah, we can do that. It would be a good time to rest a bit." Y/n agreed.

"Alright, so its settled we are going back." Dehya announced.

Sumeru City's streets were buzzing per usual. The group ultimately decided to stay in Alhaitham and Kaveh's house for the time being. The group was about to part their ways, as Dehya and the group was going to head to her job. Alhaitham pulls Y/n aside.

"I need to speak with you." Alhaitham said with a tone of urgency as he whispered.

"Well that was apparent. What is it?" Y/n asked quietly.
