[Y/n's POV]

The guy with the head things that I came to know as Alhaitham sighed with irritation, Focusing on his book once again. "I was looking for you." The shirtless guy known as Cyno explained. "Oh, were you?" Alhaitham responded blandly without looking up. 

'Yeesh, this guy is not afraid to defy authority, which I can only respect him for.' I thought, while studying Cyno. If intimidation was a person it'd be Cyno, although, he looses points for his stature. "Grand Sage Azar requested an investigation. This involves You, me, Tighnari, and for some reason, Kaveh." Alhaitham snapped his head over to Cyno for the first time. "What." Cyno sighed, "You know I hate repeating myself, anyways, their is also some type of Historian student. (Y- Y/n) (L/n) I believe their name is." Now it was my turn to ask "What." 

Cyno forrowed his eyebrows at me. "Can I help you?" He asked. I shook my head, "Did you say (Y/n) (L/n)?" 

"That is what I said, yes." Cyno confirmed, "Do you know them?" I shook my head, preparing to answer with I am her, before Cyno cut me off. "Do you realize that I could have you arrested or charged on the account of listening in on private missions and dealings of Akademic research, right?" 

I stood up and put my hands up, "Woah, woah, It's nothing like that. Besides, you were the one speaking of this in a public area." Cyno's expression turned into what seemed to be shock for a split second before returning to a glare. Obviously, he wasn't talked down on in a while. "What I was going to say is that I am (Y/n)." 

Cyno raised his eyebrows, "That was convenient."

"We will speak of the details and the main objective tomorrow night when Tighnari is here. Until, then I recommend getting comfortable in each others presence, this is going to be a long mission." And with that Cyno left. Alhaitham looked at each other in response to Cyno's hurried walk and determined expression. "This is almost normal for him." Alhaitham concurred. "I'm guessing you want to meet Kaveh?" I shook my head, "I know him, he's a friend."

"Then why are you still interacting with me?" Alhaitham said as he turned back to his book. "Well, I don't know you and I'm certainly no close friend to Kaveh." Alhaitham closed his book, "What are you proposing, exactly?" He asked.

"Maybe we could talk to each other and get to know each other." I asked. Alhaitham groaned in annoyance, "Fine, I will write down my address, tomorrow morning you may come over and 'get to know' Kaveh and I better." "Thank you." I gave my best smile. "This is ridiculous, I can just pull info up from the Akasha." He said under his breath.

"Well, farewell Mr. Alhaitham, I shall see you tomorrow." I said as I left. I wonder what the mission is? I was especially if it was the Grand Sage requesting the quest. I never was recognized for my efforts in the past, which is understandable in a school full of geniuses. It had to do with some type of history, I would hope at least. That is my area of expertise after all.

I unlocked my door stepping inside my house and got ready for bed. Grabbing Scout before heading to my bedroom. Tomorrow is going to be a long day.

What's good? Any who, I'm going to add a few extra missions and stuff before building up to the main story accurate quest :) just for some extra quality time with Cyno. Also I hate a straight forward story, because I'm not straight.
