"Daughter?! You mean the lady who you kept in contact with all those years, was her mother?" She asked and Alexander nodded.

"It was, this was the girl from the picture in my wallet." Alexander said and then Gemma looked at me.

"She grew up good." She said.

"I had a good upbringing." I said slightly annoyed, and she smiled.

"I like her attitude." Gemma said. I just looked at Alexander.

"Can we talk?" I asked and he nodded as we walked out of the office and to the side of the building.

"What the hell?! You tell mom we can't be a part of your life and you work at an auto body shop?! That's all?!" I asked and he sighed.

"I told you I was a mechanic. There is just other things that come with the life as well." He said and I groaned.

"Yeah well, I think I can take my car somewhere else or have it towed home." I said.

"Why not let us work on it?" Alexander asked.

"Because I have no money! Everything in mom's life insurance went to the funeral and all the money she had left from you in her account went to pay medical expenses and house bills. I barely had enough for groceries this week until I could get back to work. I can't pay for the repairs." I said as my eyes filled with tears, but I refused to cry in front of this man.

"Jules, don't worry about the money and paying for the car, okay? I got you covered." Alexander said.

"I don't want a handout." I said.

"It's not a handout. What good is having a dad who works at an auto body shop if he can't work on your car for free?" Alexander asked and I sighed.

"Fine, thank you." I said with a small smile and he smiled back. We walked around back to the garage, and I noticed some people looking at us.

"It's uncanny seeing them side by side." The one guy said, and I looked at Alexander.

"Meaning?" I asked.

"The dark hair, the blue eyes...you are clearly your father's child." Gemma said and I just sighed.

"I noticed how alike we were too." I said and Alexander smiled putting his arm around my shoulders.

"Jax, Gemma, Clay, this is my daughter Jules. Jules meet some of my crew." He said and I smiled and gave a small wave to them all.

"Jax and I have met already." I said and he smiled with a nod.

"What?" Alexander asked.

"Remember I was telling you about the girl at the bar the other night?" Jax asked and Alexander nodded.

"I left out the fact it was the girl you knew. I didn't know how to explain it." Jax said and Alexander looked at me.

"You okay from that guy?" He asked and I laughed.

"I'm fine, thank god Jax was there though." I said and he just shrugged.

"I was just trying to get a drink..." Jax said, and I just half nodded.

"Okay well let's let these men get to work on your car sweetie. Come on in and sit down." Gemma said and we walked into the office. As we sat in the office, I just looked around unsure of what to do or what even to say.

"So, you really knew nothing about your dad?" Gemma asked and I shook my head.

"I didn't. I knew nothing until the day after the funeral." I said and Gemma half nodded.
