We got back to the club house and I got off Jax's bike and handed him the helmet.
"So since Kip took my car home...how am I getting home?" I asked.
"I'll take you. Think you can handle another ride of the bike?" Jax asked as we walked to the club house.
"I think I can handle that." I said and he smiled and gave a small wink as we reached Gemma standing outside.
"Is he still inside?" I asked and she nodded. I went to walk away and Gemma grabbed my hand.
"I know I can't replace your mom or anyone else but if you need help with all of this, I'm here to help." Gemma said and I gave her a small smile.
"Thanks Gemma." I said, giving her hand a small squeeze and then walked back inside the clubhouse and was stopped by a guy.
"Who are you?" She asked me gruffly.
"Jules." I said and tried to walk past him and he stopped me.
"You're in the wrong place little girl." He said and I crossed my arms.
"Excuse me?! Who the hell do you think you are!" I asked and tried to push past him but he pushed me against the wall.
"Who the fuck do you think you are laying your hands on me!" He growled in my face. The door opened.
"WOAH HAPPY! Calm down! This is Tig's daughter." Jax said getting between us. He then turned to me and placed a hand on my cheek.
"You okay?" Jax asked noticing I was shaking.
"Yeah I just want to see my dad." I said and he nodded. He took my hand and walked me towards the back. There was a hallway with tons of rooms. Jax knocked on the one door.
"Come in." The voice said and I opened the door and saw my dad sitting on the bed in there. I smiled at Jax and he kissed the back of the hand he was holding. I closed the door once I walked in and sat next to my dad on the bed.
"What was that?" He asked and I sighed.
"You really want to talk about that?" I asked and he sighed and shook his head.
"What did Jax tell you?" Alexander asked.
"Just that you guys keep Charming safe but also do a lot of illegal stuff but never said what." I said and he half nodded.
"That's more than your mom ever knew..." Alexander said and I just nodded.
"I figured..." I said and he sighed. I then looked at him as tears filled my eyes. He sighed and even though it hurt him he pulled me into a hug.
"I'm okay Jules." Alexander assured me and I sighed.
"You were shot." I said and he chuckled.
"It went straight through, no damage, just the hole." He said and I groaned and got out of his grip.
"You were still shot." I said and he sighed and he nodded.
"Like I said, not the first time and probably wont be the last." Alexander said and I groaned. "Listen I know you probably want out right about now wishing you would have never met me -..."
"Hey stop! I'm happy I met you. Jax explained to me though I'm in now, there's no backing out. Gemma offered to help get me used to things and I'm here now." I said and Alexander smiled.
"I would like you to try and keep your normal life though. Go out with your friends, work your normal job..." Alexander said and I half nodded.
"Yeah, I think I can do that." I said.
