**5 YEARS LATER**

I pulled into the parking lot of the auto shop. I knew everyone was here since I knew Jax called a meeting that morning about something with the club. Jax was President now...had been for two years. Clay was gone...dead...

There was an accident on his bike, he was run off the road. No one could tell it if was intentional or not, but it came as a blow to the club and to the family. Jax took the role as President right away and I had to admit from an outside perspective the club was running a lot smoother. Opie was Vice President. He offered if to Tig, but he didn't want it.

I parked the car and looked around to see if I saw Jax or Tig anywhere.

"Mama! Out!" My 4-year-old son Beau yelled from the backseat yanking on the car door handle. They door was child locked and he couldn't get out.

"Hey! Stop." I said and he sat crossing his arms.

"Mimi!!" My 2-year-old daughter Odessa yelled seeing Gemma and I smiled.

I got out of out of the car and unhooked Odessa first since I could hold her, but I knew Beau would go running the minute he got out. I looked at my kids as I unhooked them, and it was no wonder they got their way. Beau was a spitting image of Jax. Longer blonde hair and blue eyes. Odessa was the same only she had mine and dad's blue eyes not Jax's.

Once I unloaded both kids from the car, we headed towards the body shop.

"Pawpaw!" Odessa yelled from my arms and Tig looked at us from working on a car and smiled.

"Dessa!" Tig yelled and I put her down and she ran to Tig. He picked her up and snuggled her and she giggled when he did. Beau just stood beside me.

"Where is daddy?" He asked and I looked around. We walked to Gemma, and she hugged me and then hugged Beau.

"Hi Mimi." Beau said excitedly.

"Hey sweetie." She said as Tig brought Odessa over.

"Lose something?" Tig asked, I shook my head.

"Nope, you can keep her." I said with a smile.

"Mama!" Odessa said and I smiled at her as I took her from Tig.

"Where is he?" I asked Tig and Gemma. Gemma pointed to the clubhouse as Jax and Opie came walking. I smiled and put Odessa down so she could run. Beau looked at me and I nodded.

"Go, both of you." I said and they took off running.

"Daddy!" They both yelled as Jax looked up in enough time to pick up Beau and Odessa but then Odessa got giggly looking Opie. The girl had a crush and who could blame her?

"My girlfriend!" Opie said and Odessa reached for Opie and he took her, kissing her cheek.

"Where's mom?" Jax asked and Beau pointed at me walking to him. I smiled.

"Hey." I said walking up to him with a smile. He leaned down and passionately kissed me.

"Gross!" Beau said as Jax put him down.

"Hey, go bug Mimi about her secret candy stash in the office." Jax said and Beau got excited and ran to Gemma. Opie followed still carrying Odessa. Jax looked at me and took both my hands.

"So...?" He asked and I smiled and rolled my eyes.

"You did it again Teller." I said and he smiled.

"You're pregnant?" He verified.

"Yep...just got back from the doctor. Confirmed that I'm three months." I said and he leaned in and kissed me.

"We're done now, right?" Jax asked.

"I thought we were done after Odessa!" I said and he laughed.

"Yeah, well someone couldn't stay off of me her fertile week." Jax said.

"Are we really doing this now? Who couldn't stay off of who? I'm not the one who had my wife drop the kids off at her mother-in-laws house and join him on a trip just because he couldn't stand being away from her..." I said and Jax smiled wrapping his arms around my waist.

"It was a good trip though..." Jax growled as he passionately kissed me again. We heard whopping and hollering from the garage. We broke apart in just enough for Gemma and Tig to come to the office door.

"YOU'RE PREGNANT?!" Tig ad Gemma yelled, and we smiled.

"The kids spilled the beans." I said and Jax laughed as we walked over to everyone.

"I thought you were done with Odessa?" Tig asked as he hugged me.

"We were supposed to be." I said hugging Gemma once Tig let me go.

"Well, it's okay because I wanted another grandbaby! I love spoiling them." Gemma said and I smiled. Jax stood beside me placing his arm around my midsection and rested his hand on my still flat stomach.

"So, this is exactly what you were talking about earlier. You said today's events would determine your answer." Opie said and I looked at Jax confused.

"What is he talking about?" I asked and Jax shot Opie a look. "Jax..." I said annoyed.

"Okay I told the club today that I was waiting on some news and depending on the outcome I might be stepping down from president." I said. I gasped in shock.

"Wait...what?!" I asked in shock.

"I'm going to step down. Be there for you and the kids." Jax said and I groaned.

"I need the office please." I said taking Jax's hand and dragging him in. Once inside I shut the door and locked it.

"What are you talking about stepping down?" I asked.

"I want to step down Jules. I want to be with you and the kids and live our lives. I would still work here at the shop just not be President anymore. Take a backseat role." Jax said and I groaned and rubbed my temples as I leaned back on the desk.

"Jax you being president is all you have ever wanted. Shitty way to get it but you got it." I said.

"Jules, Beau is growing up so fast, so is Odessa. I've missed so much, I mean hell I wasn't even there when Odessa was born." Jax said.

He had been on gun run when I went into labor with Odessa, I was three weeks early with her.

"That wasn't your fault, she came early." I explained. Jax come over and placed his hands on my hips.

"I still missed it. I still wasn't there. I want to be there now Jules." Jax said and I sighed.

"Jax, you can't make up for lost time with the kids just by stepping away from being president of the club. Being president is your birth right...don't step down because of the kids. They don't know what's happening, we are always safe, and you are home every night to have dinner, bath time and bedtime. I mean you read the stories last night. After bedtime me and you were even able to have our bedtime fun." I said and Jax smirked at me leaning down, giving me a small kiss. I cupped his face. "You are an amazing father Jackson Teller, and nothing will ever change that. Don't go changing your life, the only life you have known." I said and he sighed but half nodded. He took his hands from my hips and interlaced our fingers together and removed my hands from his face.

"I love you, Jules Teller. You always make me think clearly." He said and I smiled.

"What are old ladies for?" I asked. He laughed and then leaned in and passionately kissed me.

This started with finding a fathers love with my own father. Building a relationship, I never knew that I needed for it to end up being proof to all that he had enough love for his own children. It's a vicious circle. There is a saying that goes "The love between a father and his children is forever." I didn't know what they meant until I met my own, and until I saw Jax with our kids. There's nothing that both of them wouldn't do. Not just for me, but for them too – and that's all the proof I'll ever need.
