It has been a couple of months since that day, the wedding was almost ready, the only thing left was for the two to get married, which was today and Lan Zhan couldn't have been more excited about it, meanwhile Wei Ying couldn't have been more nervous about it, of course he was happy to marry him, but he was scared too. He didn't even know why he was scared but he was and he didn't know how to talk about it to Lan Zhan, he didn't want to give him the wrong idea or something like that, it's not like he didn't want to marry him, of course he did." Hey, what's wrong baby?". Asked Lan Zhan as he sat down next to him and smiled at him." Nothing". Said Wei Ying a bit to quickly, and of course Lan Zhan noticed and he wouldn't let it pass." Wei Ying, i know something is wrong". Said Lan Zhan with a strict but gentle voice.
" Ok, something is wrong, well not wrong nothing is wrong everything is fine it's just, i don't know why but i'm scared and nervous and i didn't want to tell you because I didn't want to make you think that something was actually wrong because nothing is wrong because I love you and i do want to marry you". Said Wei Ying in one breath and he took a deep breath when he finished his, rather long sentence. Lan Zhan just looked at him as he tried to understand what he just said because he did talk, well very fast." Ok, well you don't have to be scared sweetie, i love you, a lot and i will always be with you". Said Lan Zhan to comfort him, which worked because Wei Ying became less tense and relaxed in his arms." And it's completely normal to be nervous, it is an important day after all". Explained Lan Zhan as he himself despite being extremely happy was also a little nervous.
Wei Ying turned to face Lan Zhan with a smile." Really?". Lan Zhan nodded to Wei Ying's question." Even i am a little nervous honey". He admitted to Wei Ying who giggled at his confession." That's cute Lan Zhan". He said in the middle of his giggles. They both stayed together until they were called by Xichen, they walked over to him." So, Lan Zhan, Wei Ying the wedding is ready!". Said Xichen as they all cheered and hugged each other." So, when do you wanna do it". Asked Xichen as he looked at the two." What do you mean?!". Asked Wei Ying as he blushed a little, thinking of a completely other thing." I meant getting married not what your thinking you dirty childe". Said Xichen as he teased him about what he was thinking. 'oh brother, it's better you don't know'. Thought Lan Zhan to himself as he slightly smirked at Wei Ying, who just looked at him innocently.
Wei Ying looked back at Xichen with a smile." How about, tomorrow?". Asked Wei Ying as he looked at Lan Zhan too see if he was ok with that, to which he obviously nodded to." Well then, tomorrow it is". Said Xichen as he got up and walked away to do business guessed the two who stayed behind." So, want do you wanna do now?". Asked Wei Ying as he literally layed down on Lan Zhan, relaxing." Whatever you want to do love". Said Lan Zhan as he wrapped his arms around his lover's waist. The two stayed silent for a while before the younger spoke up again." If i marry you, does that mean that i will be Lan Ying and or Lan Wuxian?". Asked Wei Ying out of the blue, to which Lan Zhan put some thought in before answering." It is common for the...the wife to take the husband's last name, but in this case i think it's up to you honey". Answered Lan Zhan as he looked in Wei Ying's eyes and gently patted his head.
Wei Ying nodded at his answer." I think it sounds good, don't you? Lan Wangji and Lan Wuxian". Asked Wei Ying as he smiled, it sounded good in his opinion, Lan Wuxian sounded good, it sounded pretty, to him Wei Wuxian sounded cool, like someone who could be a troublemaker and he loved that, it was fun annoying Lan Qiren, but now that he had matured a little, for him Lan Wuxian was so pretty and gentle, he liked it." Yeah, it's pretty like you". Answered Lan Zhan and winked at the younger, who giggled and leaned in to give him a kiss on the cheek." You're so cute honey". He said as he hugged him tightly and Lan Zhan also hugged him back." Do you want to maybe, choose what you wear tomorrow?". Asked Lan Zhan." I would like that!". Said Wei Ying as he got up and and took Lan Zhan by the hand to drag him to the clothing hall.

They entered the hall and we're greeted by a couple of workers who led them towards a bunch of clothes and left them alone after explaining a couple of things to the couple." Do you like anything honey?". Asked Lan Zhan as they walked around." They're all pretty". He answered althought seeming a little uninterested, like something was missing. For Wei Ying, he thought that althought very pretty, they all kind of looked the same, there was nothing different about any of them. They kept walking around, mostly Wei Ying because after some time Lan Zhan found somewhere to sit and went over to wait for his soon to be husband to choose something. After some time, Wei Ying went to a rather secret looking part of the shop and saw that there was a bunch of clothes that looked nothing like the Lan's traditional ones.
He looked around there and saw the most perfect matching look for him and Lan Zhan.

He grabbed it and went over to Lan Zhan who was still sitting in the same place looking like he was trying hard to not look like he was bored." Hey honey!". He shouted as he popped out and jumped in front of Lan Zhan, stood up when he saw Wei Ying." It's so pretty isn't it?". Asked Wei Ying as he looked at it and then back at Lan Zhan." It is, like you". Answered Lan Zhan making Wei Ying blush." Stoooop, you're pretty". Whined Wei Ying as he hid his face in Lan Zhan's neck while hugging him, Lan Zhan hugging him back." I think you would look beautiful in that honey". Said Lan Zhan as he looked back at the clothes, Wei Ying smiled at the older male, who held him by the waist and pulled him closer himself." I see you have picked from secret collection". Said the the man that worked at shop, smiling at the couple warmly as he walked up to them and slightly bowed to them.
They both smiled at the old man and nodded in excitment." Well follow me young masters, i will get it packed up so that it doesn't rip, it is quite a delicate fabric". Explained the man as he went towards a small table, folded the two clothes and put them in a special box. They left after Lan Zhan payed for the clothes and went to their room, they had had a long day today and tomorrow was going to be a very long day and tiering, it was going to be their wedding after all so they had to have a good night's sleep. As they entered the room, Lan Zhan left the box on his table and went to change into his night attire, Wei Ying doing the same thing. They both layed down on the bed and Lan Zhan wrapped his hands around Wei Ying's waist to pull him closer to himself, Wei Ying hugged him back and looked up at him and smile, both their eyes held so much love for each other.
" I love you, i can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you". Said Wei Ying excitedly." I love you too Wei Ying ". Said Lan Zhan as they both fell asleep, a whole new life waiting them.
