"Where do I go when there isn't a place to call home?" I took my stuff and walked and walked and walked until my little legs fell apart and crashed into the hard concrete.

*

"Ma'm? Miss? Hello?" I heard a voice, but I couldn't recognize it.

I carefully opened my eyes and saw that I was inside a nice light pink room. I looked around for my bags and saw they were by the corner of the room.

"Mary?" I looked at the direction of the voice, and saw it was Ashton, I think that was his name.

"Ashton?" I looked so confused. "What am I doing here?" I asked him.

"I wish I knew. I came back from Warren. I had to drop Ally at your place because Michael had a date with her or some shit." Ashton explained to me.

"Did you visit, Luke?" I was so worried about him.. What if he got me and Michael's text? Oh no.

Ashton shook his head, "Why?"

"Well, it's a long story..." I started it off and continued.

- Luke Hemmings -

Apparently, after I left Jeyna's house, Mary and Jeyna had a fight about Mary using me for sex and weed. I'll admit it really stung me after I heard that Mary used me. I cried in my room for a good moment before talking to my mom about it.

"Mom, can we talk?" I walked inside her study and sat down on the chair.

"Sure, sweetheart. What about?" My mom didn't turn away from her computer. She typed and spoke to me.

"Mary." I mumbled to her, picking at the hole in my jeans. My mom turned around and looked me in the eye.

"Luke, don't waste time on her. You'll find someone better than her and I promise she'll treat you the way you deserve, but for now focus on school." My mom never cared about how I felt! She only cared about how she felt and what was right for me.

"Mom, I'm 18! I'm turning 19 soon! Why do you think you can control what is good and what is bad for me?! Why can't you be supportive?! I wake at 5 am just to see that you're in bed, sleeping and I don't even care if I have school that day! I worry about you because I know when I come home from school, your cookies are here, but not you. I support your work life because I know you give money to Ben, Jack, and me. You pay bills, buy groceries, and buy me stuff. I don't even care if I can't see your face when I come from school because I know that you're doing this for me, but why can't you do the same? Why don't you just support me? I love you a lot mom, but you never give me a chance to show that I need you to support me, the way I support you." I cry even harder and run inside my room. I lock the door and cry on my bed.

You're alone again, Luke.

"And here I am. In this cute, pink room." I just told Ashton the whole story. From when me and Luke were late to school and how I ended up in Greenville.

"Wow, so do you think it's twins? Maybe, one will look like Luke and one will look like you." Ashton smiled. I've never seen a man so interested into a child, like a me. No wonder Luke keeps him close.

"Ash, do you think I've used Luke?" I stared into his lovable eyes and saw a glimpse of happiness.

"Yes, but you know what? Luke has fallen in love with that." Ashton smiled, and I was puzzled.

Ashton chuckled and continued, "He's always known that you used him, sorta, but he pushed that aside and looked at you differently. He's always wanted to be with you. Even when his mom didn't approve, even when Ally was waiting for him, even when Calum didn't like it, even when Ben and Jack thought you deserved more. Mary, never let Luke go. I've seen him at his worse, and all he'll ever do is call for you, so please, never ever let him go." I nodded and he left the room.

Of all the people Luke had, he wanted me.
