Next Morning
The five of us were now walking around the cafeteria with trays of food in our hands as I begin to discuss our escape plan.
"If we're gonna get outta here, we're gonna need to get into that watchtower and to do that me and Rocket are gonna need a few things. The guards wear security bands to control their ins and outs, we'll need one." I explained.
"Leave it to me." Gamora offered.
"That dude there I need his prosthetic leg." Rocket spoke up looking in the direction of a man with a robot leg passing by.
"His leg?" Peter and I ask at the same time.
"Yeah, god knows I don't need the rest of him look at him he's useless." Rocket replied. I titled my head at him confused.
"Alright." Peter assured before we reached a table and continuing explaining the plan.
"There's a power converter on the back wall over there, pretty useless for this place but I really need that."
"Got it." I nodded at Rocket.
While walking to find a table, I scan the prison for the converter. I see the blue converter holding together two power cells, it was on the second floor barely guarded. I scan again for a way up, right beside the heavily guarded stairs. Perfect.
"Finally on the wall back there, there's a black panel blinky yellow light, ya see it?" Rocket asked.
"Yeah." Peter responded sitting down along with us.
"There's a Quarnyx battery behind it," he specified, "purple-ish box, green wires. To get into the watchtower, I definitely need it." Rocket ends.
I suddenly watch Groot walk towards the tower, I get nervous as I start to nudge Peter, but he ignores me. What the hell is Groot doing?!
"How are we supposed to do that?" Gamora asks.
"Well supposedly these bold bodies find you attractive so maybe you could work out some sort of trade?" Rocket suggests. Overhearing that, I turned to Rocket hoping that he was joking.
"You must be joking." Gamora said emotionlessly.
"No, I really heard they find you attractive." Rocket backs up.
"Yea? Try telling that to the prisoners who tried to kill her last night." I sassed with a hand on my hip glaring at him. He returned a look at me before I looked away.
"Look it's twenty feet up in the air and it's in the middle of the most heavily guarded part of the prison. It's impossible to get up there without being seen."
"Peter..." I whispered tugging harder on his sleeve watching Groot walk up the battery cover.
"I got one plan, and that plan requires a frikin' Quarnyx battery, so figure it out!!" Rocket shouts.
I watch Groot take off the cover and throw it away hitting a guy in the head. 'Shit.' I get more nervous as I grip Peter's sleeve.
"Can I get back to it, thanks. Now this is important once the battery is removed everything is going to slam into emergency mode. Once we have it, we gotta move quickly so you definitely need to get that last." I tug harder on Peter's sleeve.
