I was now in my bedroom quarter working on my helmet at my work desk. The helmet felt a little tight around my head, so I'm currently loosening it up. I searched around my desk for my screwdriver, but I didn't see it. Maybe I left it somewhere around the ship. My ear suddenly perked up when I heard humming down from the hall.

That's weird, Peter wouldn't just sing out of nowhere. Unless we're the only ones on the ship.

Out of curiosity, I jump down from my seat and walk out of my room towards the sound of the humming. But once I was getting close to the main area, I suddenly heard yelling from Peter.

"Woah, woah, woah! Yo Ranger Rick! You can't take apart my ship without asking me!"

"Our ship." I revealed myself as both of them slightly jumped at the sound of my voice.

"Stop doing that!" Peter shouts.

"Doing what?" I asked tilting my head confused and crossing my arms.

"Anyway," Peter turns back to Rocket, "You can't take apart our ship without us!! See, what is this?"

"Don't touch that it's a bomb." Both me and Peter panicked a little.

"A bomb?!" Peter shouts incredulously.

My ear twitched in annoyance. Jesus, does he have to shout so loud all the time?

"Yep." Rocket answered in a blank tone.

"And you leave it lying around?!" Peter continues. I rolled my eyes at him.

"I was gonna put it in a box."

"What's a box gonna do?!"

"Contain the bomb, what else?" I sassed at Peter getting sick of his overreacting.

I suddenly watch Rocket opened the drawer where it contained the present from Peter's mother that he didn't open. I get nervous when he picked it up because then Peter would do this...

"How about this?" Rocket asked.

"No! Whoa! Hey! Hey! Leave it alone!" Peter threats smacking the present out of Rocket's hand back into the drawer and kicks it shut.

"Why? What is it?"

"Shut up!"

I gently put my paw on his leg rubbing my thumb to calm him down. He looks down at me with a tense look on his face while I return a look basically telling him to calm down. I then noticed scattered parts on the ground.

"What's all that?" I ask gesturing to the scattered parts.

"That's for if things get really hardcore," Rocket answered and paused with a smile.

It was actually kind of... adorable seeing him smile like that.

"Or if you wanna blow up moons." He added still tinkering with the objects.

My ear perked up at that. Blowing up moons sounds a lot more fun than this but before I could say something, Gamora beat me to it.

"No one's blowing up moons."

"You just wanna suck the joy out of everything." Rocket and I say at the same time, me rolling my eyes as I hear Quill walking away.
