In which after leaving Gotham, Cassandra Winter finds herself chasing after another vigilante.
...
"Cassandra? What are you doing here?" Oliver Queen asked as soon as he opened the door of his house, after Cassandra Winter had been eagerly knocking.
"We have to talk" she breathed out "Can I come in?"
"Of course" he took a step to his side, so the woman could come in "Something happened?"
"I think is best if we speak...alone" she suggested, looking at Diggle, who was standing just a few feet away from them. Oliver gave his bodyguard a nod, letting him know that it was alright for him to leave them alone.
"So, what did you need to tell me?" he questioned, once John Diggle left.
"I found out who's going after the Bertinelli family" she abruptly left out, missing how Oliver's body tensed up.
"How?" his voice came out more harshly that he would've liked.
"Well, actually Dick did, he's a hell of a detective" she commented, not getting into details "Oliver, it's Helena. She's the one going after her own family" she stated, and got no reaction from the Queen man, so she realized what was going on "And you already knew" she frowned.
"We had a long talk last night" was the only thing he said, starting to walk away.
"Ok, and?" she followed him "What are you gonna do?"
"Nothing" he stated, starting to climb the stairs towards his room.
"Nothing?" the blonde woman repeated in disbelief "Oliver, she's the one that shot your mother"
"She wasn't the target" he reminded Cassie, as he kept walking.
"Oh, and that makes it alright? What about the other four people that she killed?" she was glad that there was none else at home, because her voice was starting to slowly raise "What happened with I just want to know who shot my mother and go to the police?"
"I never explicitly said that" without noticing, they were both standing in the middle of Oliver's room "Look, you don't know what she's going through. I need time to talk to her"
"Oliver, she's a murderer" Cassandra couldn't understand why Oliver was no keen on defending the woman that shot his own mother.
