"Please leave before I get caught" Adam Tanner, her friend inside the police department begged her. They had met through Grayson, years ago, as they studied together, and Adam ended up working on Starling City. They were currently standing in an alley a few meters from the Station; however the detective knew none would caught them there.

"Alright, alright I'm leaving" Cassandra Winter assured, lifting her hands in surrender, with a tiny smile on her face as she got what she wanted: Adam Hunter had managed to get her one of the arrows from the crime scene "Thank you again, I owe you one!"

"I've lost count of how many times you owe me" Hunter complained, but Cassandra just smiled at him innocently, and it seemed to work "Now please, go"

"You are always so fun to hang with, Adam" the blonde wryly said, as the detective amusingly shook his head. She thanked him again.

Cassandra got in her car, and drove out of the alley. It was already night, so she thought that it might be the perfect time to call her new partner. She parked again, a few blocks away, and stopped the car.

Her phone started to ring, and she saw the name of Tommy Merlyn lighting up the screen, he had been calling all day, and she had been ignoring him. Sighing, she rejected the call; she didn't have time for that now.

Instead, she reached for the phone that was delivered to her that morning, and called the only number it had saved.

"Got an early Christmas present for you" she joyfully informed as soon as he picked up "Where can we meet?"

"Seriously, if we are gonna keep doing this, we are gonna have to find another place to meet up other than roofs" Cassandra Winter complained, pretending to whip out sweat from her forehead "I'm tired of climbing that many stairs"

The vigilante was grateful of how dark it was, otherwise, Cassandra would've noticed his smirk.

"What do you have for me?" his modified voice spoke, he was still standing at a fair distance from Cassandra.

"What you asked for" she showed him the black arrow, and walked a few steps closer to him "Merry Christmas"

"How'd you get it?" he wondered. He couldn't say it, of course, but he wouldn't want Cassandra getting in trouble because of him.

"A good journalist never reveals her sources" she simply shrugged. This time, it was the Hood who took a few steps towards her, grabbing one side of the arrow, but Cassandra didn't let it go just yet "Remember, when you find out who this copycat is, I get the exclusive"
