At the White House, Martin is reading over files, before her young assistant, Lily, walks in.

Lily: Hello, Madam President.

Martin: Uh...hi...what happened to Celia?

Lily: Oh, Celia was let go yesterday.....I'm the new girl.

Martin: Oh....

Lily: Is...there something wrong?

Martin: No, no....Lily....just trying to make a very important decision.

Lily: May I ask what that important decision is?

Martin: Well, whether or not to approve of a cure for the Enhumans.....some would want it, but others won't....Enhumans are a threat, but not to all humans...and not all Enhumans are a threat....Still, can't help, but feel if I approve of this cure, I won't regret it...but then I will.

Lily: Well, Madam President. I'm sure you'll make the right decision....

Lily then exits, smiling, before her eyes change into black insect like and a spider crawls on her shoulder. The spider then crawls into her sleeve as Lily straightens her suit. At Parker Tower, after the wedding, James, Eva and John are relaxing in the office.

Eva: That was a very beautiful wedding.

James: It was, wasn't it?

John: Yeah, I can't remember the last time I've been to a wedding so beautiful....I guess, not since your mom and I's wedding. Oh, how she would've loved it.

Tombs walks up front and clears his throat.

James: Tombs....

John: Adrian....I want to thank you for showing for Joseph and Trisha's wedding. It's kind of you.

Tombs: Of course. There are times to disagree and there are times to fight.....but there are also times to celebrate.....I wish Joseph and Trisha many blessings, but John....you really should address the team of the issue at hand.

James: And that issue is?

John sighs, then turns to Tombs.

Tombs: A major pharmaceutical company has developed a Enhuman antibody. They've discovered a way to suppress the Enhuman gene in every Enhuman...

James: What do you mean surpress?

Tombs: It means it will kill the Enhuman gene permanently....in otherwords; the Enhuman cures.

Eva, James and John turn to each other.

Eva: That's so stupid. You can't cure being an Enhuman. You just can't-

Tombs: Well, according to these guys—

Eva: How afraid are these humans to think that they can--?

John: Eva...

Eva turns to John.

Eva: What?

John points to the TV in front of him as Daniels announces the Enhuman cure to the public at the Exodus facility.

Daniels: These so called Enhumans are still humans like you and me. Their powers are nothing more than a disease, a cut in their cellular activity....but am here to tell you that we finally have hope. At this site, if the President approves of this, there will be a key and source of freedom to all Enhumans who chose it. Ladies and gentlemen, I proudly present the soon answer to all Enhuman afflictions. This is the cure.

The audience applauds. After the announcement, John, James, Eva and Tombs discuss the matter at hand.

James: Well, there so afraid of us that they want to make a cure.

John: Relax, son. No one knows who the Supers are.

Eva: Yeah, but what if they release this cure?

Tombs: They won't.

Tombs walks out of the office to the door as John follows.

John: Adrian.....I know what you're planning....

Tombs: If the President approves of this cure, my Purifiers and I will destroy it and kill its creator.

John: You know that's something I can't allow.....

Tombs turns to John.

Tombs: John....for once, look the other way. This is the future of our kind we're talking about.

Charles, Trisha, Joseph, Alex and Jessica are discussing the matter of the cure.

Trisha: This "cure" is horseshit.....that's what that is...

Joseph: Yeah, but you heard that guy. If the president passes the approval of this cure, it means every Enhuman in the country has to take it....

Alex: Including us....which would mean no more Supers.

Jessica: This is silly. What kind of coward would take a cure just to fit in with the humans?

Charles: Well, for one, it would save them from judgement and persecution. At least you all don't have feathers falling from your arms.

Joseph laughs.

Jessica: Well, for all we know, the government definitely helped fund this.....This world has been so afraid of what Enhumans can do since the beginning of time....they think of they get rid of our powers so easily, it will answer all their problems, but no, it will cause them....say if there is a threat that the humans cannot handle, like Ramses?

Charles: Well, we all have a choice if this cure does get approved....

Trisha: Yeah, we do....

Maria walks in on the conversation.

Maria: Uh...sorry to interrupt, but can I talk to my sister for a minute?

Trisha looks around then back at Maria.

Trisha: Sure....

Trisha and Maria walk to the hall, before speaking.

Maria: I just heard about the cure....

Trisha: Yeah, I know and it's so stupid.

Maria: Actually, I was thinking....maybe you should consider taking it.

Trisha glares at Maria.

Trisha: What?!

Maria: Just heard me out--

Trisha: Maria! I'm a Super!

Maria: But Enhumans are still seen as a threat...even with the Supers around.

Trisha: Yeah and we're the only Enhumans who are trying to keep the peace between humans and Enhumans....I mean, how can anyone think that Enhumanity is an affliction...some people were born with it.

Maria: You weren't....Alex wasn't...did he burn a kids a face when he got his powers?

Trisha: Yeah, a kid who bullied him.

Maria: Point taken; a lot of bad shit has happened that have given the humans a reason to make this cure. The Purifiers....plus the floodings.

Trisha: I told you the floodings was the work of Sea Dwellers...

Maria: But yet, you guys don't have proof of that....

Trisha sighs with an angry breath, before Maria takes her hand.

Maria: Look, I'm not trying to tell you what to do. I'm not...but you're my sister and I'm just saying that this cure might be what's best....you just got married and this cure could give you and Joseph a normal life without having to watch your backs.

Trisha: Would Dad think that?

Maria looks down and prepares to speak, before Joseph calls to Trisha.

Joseph: Trisha! You need to see this!

Trisha and Maria walk in just as the news broadcasts the Afghanistan U.S team's deaths with the exclusion of Kala, who has been unconscious. Since that day, she has been wondering in the desert alone with the alien fragment in her hand. The alien fragment has been glowing ever since.

Trisha: Kala....
