Avani Layne might just be the cause of my grades going downhill.
On a usual regular school morning i'd wake up for school at 7:45 am but I didn't wake up until 9:30 which is right when school starts, this was all because of Avani.

I quickly got ready then grabbed my bag and flew out the door,
My bus had already left me two hours ago
so I had to just run the entire way to school.
As I was running I had to stop at a red light it wasn't my turn to cross the road, I took the time to look at my phone and I saw a bunch of missed calls from Phoebe, she probably was wondering why I wasn't at school on time, I felt bad.

Soon then it was my turn to cross the road I started to run again and I could feel the tension of the people in cars staring at me with confusion. It was kinda embarrassing.

I arrived at school at 10:35 am, the office gave me late pass and I head over to my class, I was only late to my first period class thank god but it was really embarrassing that this was the first day of school and I was late, anyway I went to seat and looked around me because people couldn't stop staring.

"You're late for class ms Marie and it's the first day of school, let's hope this doesn't continue for the rest of the school year" ms Molina advised
" I'm sorry it won't happen again, I just couldn't get sleep last night because of my roommate" I said
" I understand but that's not a really a good excuse this is check one to detention, two more and you're sent to detention" ms Molina added

Ms Molina carried on with class but there was only 15 more minutes of class.

It was then time for second period and the bell rang and so then I went, I tried to find Phoebe in the hallways to try to explain to her why I was late, I didn't see her until I saw her in art class, our spots are right next to each other.

I approached her with the biggest apology I could ever try to give, we always waited for each other before we went inside, and this morning while I was sleeping when I should've already been at school, Phoebe was waiting outside the school looking like a total idiot.
" Look phoebe I'm so sorry that I didn't meet you in front of the school today it's just that Avani was up almost all night on the phone with her friends and I couldn't even get an ounce of sleep, I was a reck all night, I'm really sorry" I cried
She looked at me like I was crazy " Kari it's totally fine, I figured that Avani would cause trouble for you" she said while chuckling
" thank you so much for understanding, I already have one point they said, and if you get three, you'll get detention" I explained
" all because of that stupid Avani layne" Phoebe added

Soon then class started and Phoebe was really excited, she loves art class, she says that art class is where she show her whole imagination on paper with just some colors or pencil. After all Phoebe is really creative so I'm not surprised.

Phoebe was in a big surprise because we got to paint and possibly new logo for our school, I was really hoping that Phoebe's logo would get chosen because I know she has amazing ideas.
However, Phoebe wasn't the only one in for a surprise today

I was focusing so much on my painting, I was thinking of painting a raven holding a banner with our school name on it, I know not really made for a school logo, but I was just doing it for fun, meanwhile Phoebe was creating a whole master piece.

" hey Kari, can I use you're red paint" a girl asked
" sure go ahead" I replied
I continued with my painting as the girl "accidentally" spilled the red paint on me
She started laughing " what the heck was that" I snapped " what was what I didn't do anything it just looks like KARI GOT HER PERIOD!" She yelled, she did that just to embarrass me and everyone looked over to see a big red stain on my skirt, most people were laughing, some were just staring, except for Phoebe she was so mad
" you're such a fu***** idiot" I cursed
" looks like someone's getting moody because of there period" the girl said mockingly
" you b****" I screamed
" KARI MARIE AND LAURA MAXWELL, THATS ENOUGH!" I hear mr ed yell
" ms Marie, I've heard you already gotten one point to detention, so this will be you're second one point today, one more an you'll be going to detention after school today" Mr ed announced
Laura began to laugh
" oh I wouldn't be laughing ms maxwell, because this is you're first point to detention, you're not that far from being in detention as well" Mr ed advised
Laura rolled her eyes and went back to her painting about to let it go, but Phoebe thought otherwise as she grabbed the paint mixed she had probably been mixing during are entire argument, it looked like throw up,
Then she asked me to step aside, so then I did.
