Angelo POV
"Are you done?" I ask Xander and Xavier who were bricking over something useless again
"Boss, I found the kids, they are held in the warehouse" jack shouts barging through the main doors of our house
"Good, finally some action" Xander groans as he gets up from the ground and sets his clothes
"You will be surrounding the warehouse and waiting for my signal" I say as he leaves
"Angelo, wait" Alexzander stopped before we can go out
"What were you doing yesterday?" he asked clearly knowing what I was doing
"I am sorry" I sigh no point fighting him
"I told you, we will never stop searching for her, but you are as important to me as much as she is, and you disappearing in the middle of the night only adds to my worries than help, I know you want her back and trust me, every one of us want her here within us so work on searching for her, not alone, with us, got it?" he says kneeling to my level looking me in the eyes
"I know" I say and leave the room
I don't even know what to think right now, ever since I got my memories back I am a mess
The soft and bubbly Angelo was lost and here I am with a death stare at anyone who passes by even if they didn't do anything
"Come back" I whisper clutching the neckless around my neck that she gave me for emergencies
"So here you are" I hear mom's voice
"You find me all the time" I say with a small smile
"Come here" she says as she sits beside me in on the grass and I lay my head on her lap
"When she sees you, she will be shocked you know, in these three months, you changed a lot" she said petting my hair as I close my eyes and hum
"I miss her, I don't even know how she managed the French mafia without a trouble and made it look easy, I have seen hell in the three months she isn't here," I say as tears start to form in my eyes
"You trust her survival skills, where ever she is, she is fine, she is strong and probably has a plan on how to get back to her cute little brother" she says
"I am no longer that cute little brother" I grumble
"But you were, and will always be in her eyes" she says with a kiss on my forehead
"Now go, manage her work till she is back, everyone knows you did not once did try to sit on her chair or take the boss's place and are waiting for her, so go, make her proud" she says
"You always manage to cheer me up, thanks mom, see you at dinner" I say as we both start to get up
"What about lunch?" she asks
"We will be on mission by then," I say and she sigh
"You are still..." "child in a grown-up body" I finish her off as she sighs
"Come home soon" she says and I kiss her cheek and leave as Xander follows me out of the house
"Even I want a kiss, maybe a hug" he whined
"No, eww" Xavier shouts
"From When and why are you in my car?" I ask the twins shocked
"When you are lost in your thoughts" Xavier said
"Why are you here?" I ask
"Well, till our sister is back it's your big brothers' duty to protect our little brother" he said fawning himself
"Who needs your protection, I am perfectly fine on my own" I say rolling my eyes
"Yeah, yeah whatever you say" he said brushing me off

"That was an easy one" Xander said as we got into the car
"Yeah, told you it was nothing major, you still insisted on 'protecting me' and all" I say air quoting the protecting me part
"Yeah well we will trust you next time" he said and I look at him blankly
"That is ..." "that is what we said last time I get it but you are my itty-bitty little brother and I have to protect you" Xavier said and I made a disgusted face at him
"You were so cute back then..." he was about to continue but shut his mouthing
No one spoke of it anymore
It was when she was with me
Now she is not
The rest of the ride was in silence
