I'm a detective with the Chicago police department, my husband Shane is a uniform . He hates that I outrank him but it's my accomplishment and I'm proud.
I have a beautiful little boy named Ethan .
Shane was ok when we got married but he changed when I got promoted. He got aggressive. And possessive.

Shane pinned me to the floor as he entered me rough and didn't let up till he was happy and I was in tears.
He passed out and I went to the shower. Something I'm used to. 12 years together but this has only been the last 5. When I was pregnant he was ok but still rough. He didn't want kids so he made sure I didn't have any after ethan
My son Ethan has a global develop mental delay and speech impairment. He communicates thru a tablet because it's easier. The tablet was expensive but I didn't care. Shane whined for weeks that 3000 for a tablet for an 8 year old was to damn much.
I cleaned up and looked in the mirror . My face was purple, my chest had bite marks and my belly had purple bruises. My arms had clear hand prints and between my legs was blue and black. I wish Shane would just kill me sometimes but then he may turn to the kids.

The next morning I got up and put the babies on the bus. I put on my long sleeve mossy oak shirt and used makeup to cover my bruises. I got ready for work as normal not speaking because shan has to be in an hour after me.
I snuck out and left for work.i arrived and was stoped by the front desk officer Trudy

"Mornin " I said thru a fake smile and my southern accent.
