It's been 3 weeks since Sarah was shot
. 3 weeks since that call.
3 weeks since the mayday.
IV been sitting here everyday I'm not at work and all I see is my beautiful wife . Pregnant with my child and not moving.
I got off work and went to check on Ethan. Hanks been keeping him at our house so he doesn't miss school.
"Mama awake?" He asked as I hugged my boy
"Not yet bud" I said I try not to break down but it's hard seeing his face . I decided not to tell him about the baby. Just in case
I mad him dinner then went back to the hospital. I wish she would just open her eyes something.
When I got there I saw her doc ter leave her room smiling?
"Ah officer Luca how are u today?" She asked giggling
"What's funny?" I asked coldly . I'm exhausted and Dom feel like dealing with her
"Why don't u go see . It's a miracle" she whispered
I ran to the room and froze .
"Hey stranger" I heard he sweet voice for the first time in weeks.
"Baby"? I couldn't believe she was up. She was sitting up slightly .
"Hhhhow I ... They didn't call me" I said going to her bed side .
"Told um not to I love ur flustered face " she laughed then grimaced.
I hugged her "ow ow"
"Sorry" I said I was in tears . "Baby I'm alive ok be happy" she said as she wiped my tears.
I kissed her and just held her face . "I'm guessing doc told u"
I looked at her then it hit "yeah baby "I put my hand on her tiny bump and kissed her.
"U want me to call the others? Ethan was just asking about u" I asked her .
"Not yet there gunna do a fetal scan we will after . Did u tell anyone about the baby?" She asked
"Ur dad was here when I found out and Hondo knows but that's it. " I said she laughed and said "were having a baby"
"Yeah baby we are" I kissed her again as the doc came in with an ultrasound.
"U guys ready?" She asked
We both nodded Sarah tried to sit up . "I got cha babe" I said as I helped her lift her shirt .
The doc put that cold gel on her belly as she put the wand on
"Well how would u guys like another surprise?" She asked
"What do u mean"? Sarah whispered scared
Doc moved the monitor and we both gasped
