Stellarlune happened besides the cliffhanger. Sophie and Keefe are together but haven't told anyone (besides Fitz). They've already defeated the neverseen.

Sophie couldn't believe Mr. Forkle had actually agreed. She was taking her friends to a human amusement park.

Mr. Forkle had said she was only allowed to bring four of her friends. After a lot of thought, and arguing, she decided on Keefe, Biana, Tam, and Dex.

"Foster!" Keefe said excitedly, tugging on Sophie's human sweatshirt. "Can we please go there?" He pointed to an amusement park where the tallest coaster Sophie had ever seen was the only thing visible from so far away.

"What does everyone else say?" Sophie turned to the rest of her friends, who were trialing slightly behind. Biana and Tam were suspiciously close together.

"I'm down." Tam and Biana answered at the same time, with Dex a second later.

Sophie shrugged and turned back to Keefe. "Alright, but don't be surprised if you can't handle the coaster you pointed at."

"Oh it is so on, Foster!" He replied with his trademark smirk.

-----------time skip to the park------------

Once they arrived at the park Dex used his stolen money to buy everyone tickets and they stood in line for the coaster that had made Keefe so desperately want to go to the park.

"Are you...scared?" Keefe turned to Tam with a laugh. "Guys, bangs boy is seriously scared of a roller coaster?"

"Shut up, you know you're just as scared." shot back.

"I am not!" Keefe argued back

"Don't worry if you get too scared Sophie can hold your hand."

"I'm sure Biana will hold yours."

"Will you guys stop?" Dex interrupted. "I think Sophie might explode and Biana won't stop looking over there." He pointed in the direction where Biana was staring at a building. Then he gestured to Sophie's fire hydrant red cheeks.

"I'm not looking over there because I'm embarrassed!" Biana said. "I was looking at that person over there. They look familiar."

Keefe held up Tam's wrist. "Awh, bangs boy's jealous."

"No, not the guy on the bench," Biana clarified. "The girl with blonde hair and people surrounding her."

"You mean Foster?" Sophie and Biana both rolled their eyes. Sophie had finally figured out who Biana was talking about. It was honestly kind of embarrassing they missed the very obvious crowd.

"That's Taylor swift." Sophie informed everyone.

"Who?" Biana and Tam asked.

"Oh she made the songs you were showing me earlier, right?" Dex asked. "You had like a whole 'album' on your playlist."

"At least someone pays attention." Sophie grumbled, sending a glare towards Biana. "She looks familiar because I played you a song and you asked who it was by then I looked her up on my ipod."

"Oh." Biana's cheeks were faintly pink. How was it fair everyone else got to look so pretty when they blushed? Sophie always looks like a literal tomato! "Sorry."

As they made it to the front of the line, it was decided Keefe and Sophie, and Tam and Biana would sit next to each other. Dex decided he didn't trust the technology of the coaster and wouldn't ride. No matter how many times Sophie tried to convince him it was perfectly safe and they had survived much worse.

The ride started and all the elves besides Sophie were screaming much louder than the humans were. Sophie meanwhile was having the time of her life. She grinned as Keefe gave a confused expression at her calmness.

When it was over she really wanted to go again but nobody else would join her so she just followed them to the drop ride nearby.

"Is anyone sitting this one out?" Sophie asked.

"This one seems safer." Dex told her. "This tech is much simpler so whoever built it should've been able to get it right."

"Very encouraging." Tam said, joining Dex in the group going on the ride. Biana joined them a few seconds later. Keefe stayed next to Sophie.

"You're not going?" He asked.

Sophie shook her head. "I'm too afraid my instincts will take over if it's tall enough for me to teleport. I'm pretty sure Mr. Forkle wouldn't let us come back if a bunch of humans saw me teleport."

"Fair enough." He sat on the bench next to her. "What? If you're not going I'm staying right here." He added when she shot him a confused glance.

"Thanks."

"Anytime Foster."

-----time skip to after the ride-----

The crew had decided to end the day with the ferris wheel. Dex had to go home early to babysit the triplets and insisted he didn't mind everyone else doing something without him.

Biana sat with Tam, behind Keefe who was sitting with Sophie.

"So," Keefe started. "How was your trip to the forbidden cities? Is it weird being back when you're not in mortal danger?"

"Kind of," Sophie admitted. "But it was nice. Especially since I got to spend it with you and our friends."

"Not including me in the 'friend' category, I see?" Keefe teased.

Sophie playfully shoved him.

The car (Is this even the right word?) of the ferris wheel tilted slightly and Sophie slid in her seat. She would've hit the other side If it weren't for Keefe.

Keefe smirked at her when her cheeks grew hot from realizing how close their faces were. She tried to smirk back from probably failed miserably at it judging by Keefe's laugh.

She closed the distance between her and Keefe.

They'd done this more than a few times since the grove, yet somehow it still felt so new to Sophie. New yet comforting.

As they leaned back Sophie remembered there were people behind them, and those people happened to be their friends.

Sophie turned to see Biana and Tam both staring at her and Keefe. Biana's mouth was open and Tam had a somewhat disgusted look on his face.

They were too far away to have an actual conversation, so Sophie knew it was about to get awkward as soon as they got off the ride.

Sophie couldn't help but grin as she turned back to face forward again.

She really hoped Forkle would let her do this again. Spending the day in her old hom with her new (not that really new but you know.) friends really was an amazing experience.
