Third Person Omniscient-

They sat in the hospital room. Mayaila, Oakley, and Aliza. The situation tensed up the room, as Oakley's unconscious breaths were finally heard; and the quietness so loud, only the AC could be heard. Mayaila's thoughts had traveled far. Farther than a rocket reaching the moon and coming back. Farther than the galaxy itself. She didn't know if she felt regret.. or confusion, or anything.

He wanted to harm himself? Aliza couldn't help him... this time? What did it all mean? Even her trying to get through to Aliza didn't work. All she received was a 'He'll tell you when he's ready.' but all she could think of was.. herself. No selfishness in sight, just concerns. What had she gotten herself in? That was the major question.

As the doctor walked in, Mayaila instantly stood up.. needing some type of information. "Hello, so... Oakley has been suffering from low blood sugar which is why he had a seizure.. but this was also a suicide attempt. We'd like to keep him for observation, but if you guys would like to take him he will not be able to be on his own, and will need 24 hour attention. We cannot risk a life loss." she spoke as Mayaila's eyes glistened.

She wanted to cry, no as a matter of fact; scream!! This was all too much.. "Oaks is so vibrant.. why would he want to take his own life??" Mayaila asked herself as Aliza answered the self question.

"Put it like this. How would you feel if you thought you lost the only important, valuable, and amazing thing in your life that kept everything afloat?" she questioned as it all started to come back. It was all her fault.

she was selfish in a way to just walk away without hearing him out. and no, she didn't know he was going through anything, but she believed she should've acted in a way that was mature, and well thought out. It doesn't matter if you know someone mental state or not, you treat them with good care.
