I'd received a phone call from Aliza, multiple at that. It was at a point she was blowing my phone up, and the vibration under my pillow was agonizing. for gods sake i just saw her a couple days ago, for thanksgiving. Surprisingly Cench couldn't bother to attend. Made it feel like it was my fault, because i was there. He can't avoid me forever...
with my thoughts exiting, i picked up the phone, answering it.
"Yes." was all she could get from me, with the amount of tiredness in my body... i don't even think i was stable enough to hold a conversation.
"I have BIG NEWS." she said, emphasizing the big and the news, sounding all excited like a newborn puppy.
"mhm?" i said waiting for her response as she didn't hesitate to deliver.
"Sooooooo, you'll be attending like one of the biggest events of the year, its like a gala but its more calm, but make sure to dress to impress!! I talked to some of my connections and they talked to theirs... and with the success of your album, even though its not so big its good enough to get you a spot on the invitation list... and it'll get you out there in the music and social world!! PLEASE tell me you will goo??????" she said as the words pretty much bounced off her tongue with no stumbles, just fastness.
As happy as i was to hear this... I knew i wasn't in the mood for such and event, but also knowing how hard she'd worked to get me on this invitation list; i couldn't pass up either.
"sure, i'll go." i said softly, emotionless.
she screamed through the phone at my voice, making me giggle a bit. I love seeing her happy, it brings my emotions up a bit.
"Okay perfect!! uhhh... btw it's tonight at 7. I know you have something great in your closet so i wasn't worried... dress to impress!!!!" she said hanging up before i could begin to yell at her.
ugh. of course she'd prepare me for an event thats basically the same equivalent to 'immediate action'.. because i literally have no time to prepare.

Call it what you want, but now it was my time really. And i wasn't going to waste anytime, or let anyone tell me it wasn't. the watch doesn't lie, and the alarm will always ring at the correct time, every time.
