- ks got busted training jennie
- ks has a tense/salty thing between him and sojoon
- ks went on the field trip that barely had any omegas in it because they promised to go passed waterfalls and he didnt believe they were real st first.
- in camp they played a "get to know moi" game where they threw a ball around and each had to pull a paper and ssy something fitting to it before passing the ball on
- ks pulled the paper disgusting snd told a story of when he escaped a packhouse and had to crawl over and through corpses benesth the house.
- that night ks had a panic attsck in his tent
- jongin came to the rescue and calmed him down.

" sorry " kyungsoo moved back from the tallers chest once he'd realized how tired he'd become and he feared if he hadnt moved away then, he might've even fallen asleep and humiliated himself further.

"It's ok.." Jongin cleared his throat but remained where he sat, hands retreating awkwardly as he watched the shorter shift away and to his side of the sleeping mat. It was still quiet, just like it had been since he entered the tent earlier but now, now that kyungsoo shifted away, the quiet felt uncomfortable and jongin moved his hand up to his chest subconsciously holding onto the spot still warm where the shorter had leaned into him. It made him frown lightly, eyes wandering to his pillow in order to seem busy with his hands adjusting and fixing it. He must be overthinking, the 2 never had a problem with sitting in silence and this was no different.

briefly he looked back to kyungsoo who'd turned now only facing him with his back. But his heartbeat was steady, he thought, he was calm now at last.

He'd remembered sitting by the fire, talking with yuna when he'd picked up on the rapid beat of the omegas heart, usually when he'd been bored he'd listen to it, it had become a habit that calmed him whenever he wasnt around him.
It was a way of knowing he hadnt gotten himself or anyone else in trouble but when he sat by the fire with yuna and listened, it sounded off.

Kyungsoos heart was racing as if he'd been on the run and strangely, jongin found his own picked up on pace when he shushed yuna and jumped to his feet. The sound was close enough to assume kyungsoo hadnt left the camp but that didnt make it better. He'd suspected someone bothered him again or others tried to temper the omega once more, still not having learned the lesson yet but as Jongin reached his tent and glanced into it, he'd found the truth was a nightmare and he thought he shouldve known.

Every now and then one of the 2 would struggle through distressing dreams, each time it felt easier not to be alone but every time it happened quietly with neither of them being talkers, it was a quiet agreement they had not to talk about it yet this time jongin had questions, never had either of them slipped into a state of panic like kyungsoo did. He couldnt help and keep the image of kyungsoos terrified, glowing bright blue eyes, fresh in his mind, how they wandered around and were glossed over from forming tears.

" you hesitated earlier?" he asked then after having fixed his pillow and not knowing what else he could pretentiously tend to.

Kyungsoo met his eyes with a little frown
" what ?"

" the question " he pushed on, it wasnt so much that he thought the omega should talk about it, it was more so that he was curious and just maybe a little worried but voicing that, he suspected, would only lead to an argument.

the omega huffed. " what was I suppose to do? make up something silly so we can all go eww and laugh about it? They wouldnt have believed me then either"

Jongin laughed, shaking his head to himself as he adjusted himself to lay down with a sigh. Head steadied on his fist with his elbow agaisnt the pillow.
" so what? It matters what they believe now?"
