Chapter 37

Recapii:

- sojoon busted ks training Jennie and he mad (its tense between them because ks said he doesnt regret it and defended his decision)
- theyre on a schooltrip
- ks only went along with it because he wanted to see waterfalls since he believed they werent real
- the students played a game where they threw a plastic ball aroudn with papers inside each having a word one which the person who caught the ball has to tell a fitting story to
- ks got the word disgusting and disturbed a few students with his story
- ks being judged by students triggered him into having a nightmare which jg helped him calm down from by the power of his charming beta eyes.
- ks admits to jg that he struggles in understanding what was acceptable and what wasnt to the City folk to which jg basically said who gives a fuck what they accept.
- ks fell behind on the hike because a girl named hoosa kept doubting ks Story and trying to make him confess he was an attitude seeker
- hoosa and ks get attacked by 2 ppl and knocked out
- jg, jay and chanyeol have noticed ks is gone
And jg hears a call in the distance which makes him leave the camp in search.

When kyungsoo opened his eyes again it was to a splitting headache and pain erupting through his body.

His hanging hands moved unoriented through the air, his body felt heavy and there was a blinding pressure over his chest, which worsened once he tried to reach around and straighten himself. quickly his hands fell back, landing on what felt like a tree trunk that was causing it. 

the omega grunted with a grimace, hands shaking but pushing against the trunk to relief his chest and allow his lungs to breath in the desperately needed air. His movement caused an echo of what he assumed dirt and stones falling to a ground far beneath him and he blinked through the blurry vision, clearing out bit by bit while he attempted to finally make out just where he'd ended up because all he could remember was being grabbed along with the girl by masked people. Maybe 2 or perhaps 3, he couldnt remember  and it wasnt his concern now either. 

Kyungsoo inhaled shakingly, he mustve been dumped into a gap on the ground because it wasnt necessairly deep or wide but it traveled further into the distance before and behind him. there were many branches and broken off tress throughout the rocky and broken off walls,  many wide cracks and putrzfibg ledges of rocks but all he could see where the spots of opportunities to climb. 

his hands pushed harder against the trunk in attempt of pulling himself up to sit on it but instead he grunted at the newly found pain shooting up his leg to spread around his torso. He couldnt supress the grunt and the harsh breaths following when his grip slipped and the pressure over his chest returned while he hung over by it once more. 

The omega thought, now if he wasnt trying so hard to grip to consciousness, he mightve passed out and possibly suffocated to death. Instead his trembling hand flew back up blinding gripping any spot he could of the trunk as he breathened and pushed against it once more, focused eyes moving and fighting the surrounding darkness to make out what caused the pain around his legs. One hanging down but the other impaled by a branch peaking out from the trunk he hung on.

" s-shit " he whispered breathless and in pain,  one hand reaching for the branch while the other was forced to keep him up. Yet he found it difficult as the action robbed him of the air he still despreately needed and it robbed the supporting hand of strength.

He moved back, giving himself a moment to recover first and instead further take in his surroundings until he picked up on a movement beneath himself. 

his heart skipped a beat as he looked down to the source, getting a glimpse of the bottom of the drop beneath him and what was there. It was the furry back of a creature sleeping and the tail of another not too far. it wasnt a far drop but given his state and the fact that he clearly wasnt alone, made it something hed rather avoid.
