My dearest Anya

The friends meet up

Anya's POV
After I left apparently Damian made his family leave. He was furious about how his father acted. I had fallen asleep by the time he got up to our room. It's been a few months since then and I am now 6 months pregnant. I was sitting on the couch with a movie playing on the tv. Damian comes over to me. He gives me a blanket and something small to eat. I smile at him. He gives me a small kiss. Then we pull apart and watch the movie. Then I get a call.

Damian pauses the movie. I answer it. "Hello?" I say. "Hey Anya!!" I hear an excited voice from the other side of the phone. "Hey Becky how are you?" I say. "Oh I'm great. Still single" she replies. "Oh that's good" I say. Damian is watching me with a smile on his face. "How are you?" She asks. "I'm great. We should meet up we have a lot of catching up to do" I say. "We should totally do that!!" She says. I hear an excited squeal from the other line. "Oh you should bring Damian and have him bring his friends we should all catch up" she says. "Okay give me a moment and let me ask him" I say. "Okay" she says.

I put my hand over the phone and bring it back from my ear. "Damian" I start. "Hm?" He responds. "Becky's on the phone and she wants to know if you would want to come with us to catch up and to invite your friends as well" I say. "Yeah I'd love that" he says. He smiles. I smile back at him. I put the phone to my ear. "He said we can do that. We'll check with Ewen and Emile if they want to come. Where should we meet?" I ask. "Oh there's this really cool Café close to me I'll send you the location" she says.

"Okay" I say. I look at the location. It's pretty close. "Yeah we can do that" I say. "Great I can't wait to see you guys there!!" She says excitedly. "When should we meet up though?" I ask. "How about Friday around noon?" She suggests. "That works for us. Okay we'll ask Ewen and Emile if they want to come and we'll get back to you okay?" I say. "Okay bye Anya!! Talk to you soon" she says. "Bye Becky" I say. She then hangs up and I turn to Damian.

"Sorry that took so long" I say. Damian just shakes his head and smiles at me. "Darling you don't ever have to apologize for talking with a friend and being happy. I don't care how long it takes as long as you're happy" he says. I lean forward and He cups my face in his hand. I smile into the touch. He pulls me closer with one hand on my stomach to make sure he doesn't crush our baby. He leans forward and kisses me. I kiss back. After a few moments we pull apart. I smile at him and he smiles back at me.

Damian's POV
Anya was on the phone with Becky. She started out as just Anya's friend but then we all became a friend group. Anya apologized for being on the phone for so long. I assured her that it was okay. I don't know why she felt she had to apologize for being on the phone for a while. She was happy so I was happy. We are both still happy. We kissed. "Do you want to continue watching the movie?" I ask. She nods.I press play on the movie we were originally watching.

The days pass by and soon it's Friday. "Hey Love it's almost time to head over to the café are your ready?" Anya asks. "Yeah. Are you ready?" I reply. She just smiles and nods. We both grab our jackets as it was starting to get chilly outside as it usually does around this time of year. We walk out to the car and head over to the café. We get there and walk in. Anya points out that Becky was already here. We walk over to her. She's waving at us excitedly.

"Anya!" She says. She hugs Anya. Anya hugs back. "It's so good to see you" Anya says. "Damian" she says. "Hey Becky" I say. She smiles. We both sit down. It's a few minutes before Ewen and Emile join us. "Hey guys how've you been?" I say as they come to sit down at the table. "I'm good. How about you Damian I haven't seen you since your wedding" Emile says. "Oh I'm good" I say. "I'm good as well. Thanks for inviting us" Ewen says. They sit down.

We start talking. We ordered something to eat. "Anya is there anything new?" Becky asks. "Um not really. I've been happy living with Damian so there's nothing too new" she responds. I don't think she meant too but she forgot to tell Becky about our child. "Oh also I don't mean to be nosy or anything but you....gained some weight what's up with that?" Becky asks. If I were to ask someone that I definitely wouldn't ask it like that but I can't really do anything about how she words her questions. "Oh uh I'm pregnant" Anya says with the prettiest smile.

"Wait what?!!" Becky, Ewen, and Emile shout at the same time. "Shhh! We're in a café you can't be yelling like that" I say. "Sorry" they say. "Yes I'm pregnant. I forgot that you guys didn't know" Anya says. "It's okay Anya" Becky says. They smile at each other. They continue talking for a while. We all talk about all the things that have been going on in our lives. Emile is engaged to his current girlfriend. Ewen is dating someone and has been for 2 months now. Becky is single and happy. She lives alone but she's safe. Soon it's time to go home. Becky hugs Anya and then me. We wave goodbye to them all as we get in the car to leave. We drive away with smiles on our faces. Anya had fun so I'm especially happy.
