The wedding reception was just amazing, the location was perfect, right by the sea, and guests could go down to the beach for a dip whenever they wanted. Aurélien and Primavera had hired a large party room, with sublime decorations, just like outside. Fresh green grass, with rose petals strewn everywhere. An area had also been specially created for pets, as there was not only Vivaldi but also other people with their dogs.
The bride and groom had thought of everything.
One by one, the guests arrived at the reception venue. Vinicius was with Achille and Eduardo, and Camélia joined them.
"Mummy !" the little boy jumped into his mother's arms and she carried him in her arms.
"sweetie, I hope you behaved well with vini and edu".
"like an angel, he was adorable" replied vinicius
"he's very cute" eduardo added
Camélia smiled before kissing her child's cheek. While she chatted to the two footballers, Achille remained glued to his mother's leg, looking all around him, before playing with Vivaldi, who came right up to him.
The bride and groom arrived last, of course, and Primavera had changed her wedding dress for one that was a little more flexible for dancing, which suited her to perfection as always. They invited the guests inside for an aperitif before dinner.
Camélia found herself at the bridal table, with edu, vini, gue-sung, kai and caly, persia and ben, not forgetting kepa.
"oh my god mum, we've got the Chelsea footballers with us !" the little boy whispered, which made Camélia laugh.
"talk to them, don't be afraid, they're nice".
"they intimidate me" the little boy replied, burying his head in his mother's dress
"hey cam, it's been a long time !" said kai, shaking her hand while persephone was at his side whispering things into his ear
"kai, yes it's been a long time !"
"and you must be Achille, Persia's told me a lot about you," said the German, lowering himself to Achilles' level and freeing himself from his mother's dress.
"and you are kai havertz"
"that's right you know chelsea ?"
"yes im a huge fan of yours" the little boy answered, kai's heart melted
"that's awesome, and as you can see behind me these are my teammates, ben chilwell and kepa arrizabalaga" he replied, smiling as he gently patted his head
"oh wow"
"do you want to go and see them ?" kai asked, the little boy nodded, the German took his hand before leading him towards his two other chelsea team mates
"kai will make an excellent father, I'm sure of it" said camélia, placing her hand on her friend's shoulder as she smiled.
"I'm sure too, I hope I'll be as good a mother as you are, you're so brave cam, bringing up a child on your own, not many people are capable of that you know"
"I know, afterwards I had no choice, but I'd give anything for Achille to be happy" Camélia says as she watches her son marvel at the Chelsea players.
"I'm sure he's very happy with you, but have you ever thought about yourself ?"
"What do you mean ?"
"finding someone else"
"to tell you the truth, I've had a few flings but they didn't last long, being a single mum isn't exactly an asset in anyone's eyes"
"Well I think that's stupid, I'd fall straight in love with you because I really admire people who manage to bring up their children without the help of their partner" she said, putting her arms around Camélia's shoulders before kissing her on the cheek, which made the young woman laugh.
"You'll make a wonderful mother persia, I'm convinced of it".

"Are you going to talk to her or not ?" asked Antoine, sitting next to Kylian, watching from a distance as the young woman talked to the newlyweds.
"What ?" said Antoine.
"you understood me perfectly well" laughed the blond as kylian sighed.
"I'm going to enjoy this evening before I think about that" he replied, taking a sip from his glass of champagne.
"what are you talking about ?" asked eduardo as he sat down next to them.
"what ?" asked kylian, surprised by his appearance
"your friend" replied jules
"my friend ?" eduardo frowned
"camelea" said ousmane
"camélia" corrected jules
"ohhhh cam... well she's gorgeous and very nice, what are you waiting for ?" eduardo smirked
