fibromyalgia is widespread tenderness and pain throughout the body. It can affect a person's sleep, mood and memory.

"Alright! Let's do it once more and then we can have a break." Chan called out, walking to the laptop to play the music.
Stray Kids were currently in one of their many studios, trying to perfect the dance a couple more times before they start recording for S-Class.
Seungmin has been tired ever since he woke up. His body has been aching all over and he just couldn't focus; he forgot the moves after a while. He didn't have the courage to tell the members, he couldn't afford to miss any practice. Seungmin needed to get it right.
The music started playing and he instantly got into his starting position, as if it was second nature. It all went well until the pre-chorus started to play.
He's forgotten the moves. Its like the rest of the dance has been washed out of his brain. Seungmin's brain fogs up sometimes which is why Jisung likes to call it "fibro fog". Him forgetting things or being forgetful is somewhat common with his condition, so the members and staff know he doesn't mean for it to happen, which doesn't make him feel any less bad.
Before he realised, he took a wrong step, tripping over his own feet and bumping into Chan.
"You alright?" Chan asked worriedly, helping Seungmin stand upright. The latter nodded sharply at the question. "Yeah i-i'm fine."
Jeongin, who was on the other side of the group, had quickly made his way over to Seungmin, checking him as if he had any visible injuries.
The members had bombarded him with questions, asking how his body felt, if he felt tired, if he needed to sit down. As much as he loved the boys, being asked these questions all the time had really pissed him off. The leader could see Seungmins startled face, he quickly cleared his throat to bring the attention away from Seungmin for at least a couple seconds.
"You're supposed to go to the doctor later on, yeah?" Chan questioned gently. The singer becomes stiff and his breathing becomes laboured. Jeongin grabs both of Seungmin's hands, squeezing lightly. He felt a squeeze back, a bit lighter than he did.
He realized that he didn't give Chan an answer, so he quickly gives him a nod, saying yes he needs to go.
"Alright. You seem tired so how about you see if they have any open spaces available so you can go in earlier. You can even bring Innie if you want to. How does that sound?"
"But what about the dance? I don't even remember half of the dance. I don't want to let the group down." Seungmin mumbled the last part, hoping no one — besides himself — had heard it.
"You're not going to let anyone down if you miss a couple hours of practice," Minho smiled reassuringly, "if something goes wrong and you end up forgetting a couple of moves, I'll happily go over them again with you." Seungmin didn't realise when the elder had made his way beside him until he felt a hand in his hair, scratching at his scalp.
The boy nodded. He knew Minho would help him, he knew all of them would if he asked. He accepted Chan's idea, walking over to where his stuff was to pack it up. He was just about to pick up his bag when a hand on his shoulder stopped him.
"Don't worry about your stuff, we'll take it home for you and Innie. Just grab the things you need and head off." Felix said softly. The other members nodded in agreement.
Eventually, Jeongin and Seungmin left the practice room, they could faintly hear S-Class being played once again.
———
Seungmin has been feeling anxious ever since they arrived, but he was determined not to let the anxiety get to him. He knew he'd be safe, Jeongin was with him.
Once the pair made their way to the front desk, Seungmin could feel his heart rate pick up. His hands felt clammy and his stomach was in knots. Seungmin was sure he wasn't going to make it through the visit without breaking down.
There's never been a real reason as to why he's so afraid of the doctors, his brain just makes out bad scenarios of what could happen to him or someone else.
Jeongin noticed Seungmin's apprehensive look and smiled at him reassuringly. He knew his boyfriend was scared, but he also knew that these visits were helpful, so he made it his mission to make sure Seungmin felt safe and calm. He gently wraps his arm around the taller shoulders. "It's alright, I'm here with you. You'll be fine."
The clerk at the front desk was nice. When the two had explained what was going on, she understood and quickly got to work. "I believe Mrs Lee has available space in about 15-20 minutes. In the meantime, the two of you can go sit in the waiting area and she'll call you back to her office soon." She smiled warmly, quickly finishing up Seungmins paperwork and handing it to him.
The two boys sat down in an empty row. At this point Seungmin started to zone out, while Jeongin grabbed out his phone, making sure to keep a hand on the elder's thigh.
It hasn't even been 10 minutes since the couple had arrived, and Seungmin could already feel tears gathering in the corner of his eyes. He tightly closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, trying to stop the tears. Seungmin, you are 22 years old, stop being a baby.
Jeongin saw Seungmin taking deep breaths and went to grab his hand when —
"Kim Seungmin?"
You could see Seungmin visibly jump. He slowly got up from his seat and grabbed Jeongins hand, wanting the younger to come with him. Seungmin watched Jeongin get up as well, making sure to intertwine their hands. The pair followed Mrs Lee down a hallway to her office.
Seungmin was surprised to find his doctor being so kind and understanding of his worries. She had a naturally calming presence which helped his worries a bit. After a short discussion on how he was generally feeling, it was time for the check-up.
The doctor took her time to carefully examined Seungmin to make sure he was doing ok. The visit had gone by fairly quickly which Seungmin was thankful for.
The couple left hand in hand when Mrs Lee had sent them off. "See? It wasn't so bad was it? You did well. I'm proud of you." Jeongin praised before kissing his boyfriend on the cheek.
Seungmin smiled. He was proud of himself too. While his fear of hospitals was still lingering, he knew that with Jeongin's — and the members — support, he could make it through and get the care he needed.
———
Jeongin decided he was too lazy to go back to the practice room with the others so he suggested the two go back to their dorm to lay in bed; and to hopefully get some shut eye.
And that's how the rest had found them, all snuggled up in Jeongin's bed. And if Chan took multiple photos of the two, that is only for him to know.
