"Slow down!"

Changbin was currently out at this local pet shop trying to find pet food for his dog.

See, Changbin has never looked after or owned a pet, let alone a dog, in his life (not counting Seungmin) so he didn't just want to leave him in his apartment on his own.

After walking around for a while, Changbin eventually found the section he knew the pet food would be in. Well, after Bada had decided it would be a great idea to jump on every person he had seen.

Changbin looked out towards the border collie and smiled to himself, happy that his dog was finally settling down enough for him to focus on finding the food his friend Chan had recommended to him.

Except he now jinxed himself. Bada had abruptly gotten up and taken off, almost ripping Changbins arm off in the process.

He quickly composed himself and ran after his dog.

———

Hyunjin was happy.

He had finally saved up enough money to buy a cat. He ventured into his local pet shop, on a mission to find one of the kittens he has been looking at for a while, a ragdoll breed.

Hyunjin wasn't paying much attention to his surroundings, until he felt the cat in his arms arch her back, fur standing on end and hissing at the border collie in front of them.

———

Hyunjin was in shock, not knowing whether he should leave the dog or bring him to the front of the store. That was, until a short guy ran up to the dog, pulling him back from Hyunjin and his cat.

"I'm so sorry about this. God, this is embarrassing." Changbin apologised franticly, whispering the last part. Hyunjin felt his lips turn upright a little, he thought Changbin was cute.

"It's alright."

He quickly calmed down his cat, who still had her back arched.

Changbin hadn't realised the taller boy was holding a cat in his arms, she blended in well with the white hoodie he was wearing. "That's a cute cat you got there. What breed is it?"

Hyunjin blushed a little at the question, not expecting the question. "She's a ragdoll, a friend of mine told me I should get her."

Changbin nodded, looking down towards his dog and saying a quick 'she's cute'.

The two stood there in an awkward silence, not knowing what to say next. Changbin spoke up to break the silence, "Did you maybe wanna, I don't know, go for a walk down to the park or something? Maybe so we can get to know one another?"

He laughs at how red Hyunjins face has gone at the question. Hyunjin agreed to Changbin's suggestion, telling him he just has to pay for the cat and then they could go. After Hyunjin said that, it reminded Changbin of what he had come for.

The pair paid for their things and were off. They both enjoyed their time at the park, despite other dogs barking and their pets, it had gone well. it was getting late so they chose to exchange numbers to hopefully spend time together again.
