It was almost one in the morning when Chan was found in his studio alone. He sent the other two members of 3Racha home to get some sleep, telling them that he'd be back before two. He didn't exactly lie, he just needed to get this song finished before he could leave which was starting to get difficult.

He spent a few more minutes just sitting there, staring at the song, as if everything was just going to spill out.

His thoughts were interrupted when he heard multiple knocks on the studio door. He scooted his chair, making his way to open the door for whoever was up at this hour.

"Hyunjin?"

There stood Hyunjin, who was in nothing more than a hoodie (that Chan thought might be his) and a pair of sweatpants. God, Chan thought he looked absolutely stunning, even though he looked like he just woke up. He was the one person Chan wanted to see right now.

And as much as Chan wanted to see him, Hyunjin should really be asleep right now, or even just at home.

"Hyunjin, why are you here? It's one in the morning. You should be at home." He tried to say this in the nicest way possible, without it sounding like Chan didn't want him there.

"Well," Hyunjin made his way over to the little couch in the studio, making himself comfy. "Jisung passed out as soon as he got home, Changbin hyung had to drag him to bed and I don't even know what hyung is doing. I got bored so I came here."

Chan nodded along.

"I also came here to drag you home. It's late." Once again, he nodded. Hyunjin had a point, it was late.

Chan couldn't help but smile at how direct Hyunjin was. He appreciated the concern but knew he couldn't leave just yet. The song was nearly there, on the verge of completion, and he couldn't let it linger in his mind any longer. Still, he couldn't resist teasing Hyunjin a bit.

"Hyunjin, you know I appreciate the concern, but I've got to finish this masterpiece. I promise it won't take long," Chan said, with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

Hyunjin rolled his eyes, a playful smirk on his face. "Masterpiece, huh? You always say that. How about this, you work for another thirty minutes, and then we both go home. Deal?"

Chan chuckled at the compromise. "Deal. But you have to promise not to distract me too much."

Hyunjin raised an eyebrow, his smirk growing wider. "Oh, I can't promise that. You know I'm a very distracting person."

Chan couldn't argue with that. He returned to his seat, feeling a renewed energy as he focused on the final touches of the song. Hyunjin, true to his word, settled on the couch, watching Chan work with a soft smile.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity (to Hyunjin at least), Chan leaned back, satisfied with the final product. He turned to Hyunjin, whose eyes sparkled with admiration.

"Alright, all done. You ready to go?" Chan asked, quickly shutting off his equipment.

Hyunjin stood up, stretching his limbs. "Took you long enough, but I guess good things require time."

Chan grinned, slinging an arm around Hyunjin's shoulders as they made their way out of the studio.

Chan let Hyunjin talk about his day. About how dance practice with Danceracha went, how Minho threatened to put Hyunjin in an air fryer, how Jeongin didn't accept his love, and about his newest paintings. Chan loved to hear Hyunjin talk and how excited he got whenever he talked about something he loved.

"Hey Hyunjin, thank you for keeping me company," Chan said sincerely, kissing the taller's shoulder.

Hyunjin smiled, leaning into Chan. "Always. Now, let's get home quickly, my legs hurt."
