Day 12: Swim swits

"Do you like these types of bodies?": The question startled Keith as he was brought back to reality from his thoughts, seeing Pidge behind him dressed in a... strange way, with a greenish onesie and her hair standing up.

"W-What?": He asked, looking at the girl better and noticing a bag full of junk and her slightly disappointed and insecure look. She limited herself to pointing to a large, fairly old poster in front of them framing a thin woman with rounded shapes and with a black swimsuit full of laces that covered only her intimate areas.

"Um... No! I...": He exclaimed, feeling the blush rise up his cheeks as he stared at that poster: "No... I wasn't looking at it... I was thinking and brooding..."

He let out a breath he hadn't thought he'd been holding, and, even though he was telling the truth, the tone he used sounded almost like he'd been caught in the act on something illegal (he'd never used that embarrassed, guilty tone either when he stole Shiro's car, actually). He actually didn't want to go to the mall that had just opened, but he had found himself there while walking aimlessly and decided to go and have a look. But he never expected to see Pidge there, mentally recalling an argument they'd had in the castle of lions where she complained about how boring and pointless shopping was.

"Well, you're an adult, technically...": she replied, looking better at the poster hiding that disappointed and slightly sad and disconsolate tone: "You're the black paladin, I think you deserve some... er... distractions..."

"I wasn't looking at that advertising poster...": he sighed, looking at her with sincere eyes, but her expression didn't change.

"You didn't answer my first question though...": Keith blushed furiously again at her words: "Do you like these types of bodies?"

"I honestly don't care..." He held the blush on her cheeks at bay, while he thought he heard her let out a comforting sigh.

"No, it's just that I thought that... well... you liked girls like that...": she admitted, hearing her voice lean towards a state of insecurity and doubt, while she violently shook her hair to make it return to its natural state, then one hand on the chest and tighten the green cloth.

"You're beautiful just the way you are, Pidge," he said, blushing slightly.

"Do you really think that?": She looked into his eyes, cheeks slightly rosy and a slight smile at the corners of her lips. He smiled, moving closer to her and placing a comforting hand on her shoulder.

"Anyone who doesn't think so should be a fool, don't you think?": She blushed at his words as she watched Keith give her the sweetest and most comforting smile he could ever give her as she heard Allura's voice calling her from afar .
