Chapter five
It had been over a week since everything went down. Filming had finished and Ariana actually had a few days of freedom since she had finished promoting her upcoming album.
She was in the back of a SUV as she looked out of the window at the New York traffic. Her phone vibrated signaling a text. She looked down, and saw Colson's name, or rather K🥵💕 on her screen. She smiled reading his message. She had been waiting on him, hoping he would bug her, since she had regretted giving him the silent treatment on the last days of the shoot. She'd thought about him everyday since.
A🖤: are you okay? I couldn't ignore you after a text like that 💕
K🥵💕:Wry?
A🖤: heading to my apartment ❤️
K🥵💕: where's that? LA?
A🖤: NY
K🥵💕: Sooo I just checked and I could fly out...if you want me to?
A🖤: U miss me that bad?
K🥵💕: Idk...I just keep thinking about you, Pete won't talk to me obviously...
A🖤: He'll come round... anyways happy early birthday!
A🖤: About what you said...I want you to fly out for your birthday...
K🥵💕: only if I get cake...
A🖤: sure I'll buy you one.
K🥵💕: I wasn't talking about that kind of cake. X
A🖤: what about ur boys u bringing them? Xx
K🥵💕: I kinda just want to be alone with you, I can put the partying on hold. Xx
A🖤: Why put the partying on hold? we can go out with everyone for ur birthday?
K🥵💕: Idk. I just want to wait a couple of weeks at least and figure things out before we're seen together xx
A🖤: okay handsome xx
K🥵💕: so you're cool with me coming to spend the week with you? Are you sure you can put up with me for that long? X
A🖤: just get ur ass here xxxx
K🥵💕: send me your address and I'll text you when I'm in the Uber...in like 5 hrs, I've got to rush I could actually catch the flight that's in an hour
He darted around the house packing for over 20'minutes like a maniac, as soon as he saw the time he panicked and practically stumbled downstairs with his suitcase.
"Guys I'm leaving we can celebrate after I come back...see you next week!" Colson said, as he rushed out the door.
Before he could get in the car the boys were outside.
"Where are you going?!"
"Like 4 hours away on a plane, I have to go before I miss the flight."
"Where are you going?" They repeated.
"I'll be back, I promise, and it's kinda secret right now." He sighed as he got in the car and started to pull out.
He looked in the rear view mirror to see his friends standing in the middle of the road aimlessly.

The airport. He had enough time to park his car in one of the special bays, and head through security, he'd already bought his ticket online.
