Bughead Oneshots part 3

The New Boy Caused This Pt. 2

Betty's POV
A car hit Jughead and it knocked him out. I hurried up and I called 911. 

They came pretty fast and they took him with them. I wanted to go in the ambulance with him but they told me no. I ran over to Archie to tell him that I had to go. 

"Archie I'm sorry I can't do this. I have to be with Jughead!" I say starting to walk to my car. He grabbed my arm and yanked me back. 

"No Betty! You said you loved me and you broke up with him. He's not your problem anymore." Archie said with a devilish smirk. I slapped his hand and I got out of his grip. 

"I don't know if Jughead will live and I'm going to the hospital right now, I can't believe that I ever liked you." I said before I started to run towards the hospital. 

I get to the hospital and ask the nurse to see Jughead. Before they let me into his room she told me she had something important to say. 

"He is in a coma. We don't know when or if he'll wake up." The nurse said giving me a sad smile. 

I nod and walk in. There he is lying on a bed in a coma because of me. If it weren't for those feelings I had towards Archie, Jughead would be awake and he wouldn't be here. 

"Jughead I know you can't hear me but I wanted to say that I'm sorry. I screwed things up. I love you Jug, only you. I have no idea why I said I loved Archie but I saw what type of person he really is. I made a mistake and huge one and its killing me. Please wake up, I can't deal with seeing you here. I hope you can forgive me someday. I love you Jug." I let the tears run down my cheek as I walk away. 

*Time skip 2 days*

Jughead has been in a coma for 2 days now. His father came once but that's all. I'm the only one that's here. I was reading a book next to him when I saw him move a little. 

"Jug?" I ask. 

"Betty? What are you doing here?" He says. 

I don't want to answer his question but I know I have to.

"Um I told you that I wanted to break up and you got mad and you went into the street without looking. You got hit by a car Jug." I say crying. He just looks at me and doesn't say a word. After a few seconds he looks at me with anger in his eyes. 

"I'm in here because of you?" He asks, his voice filled with anger. 

I was going to answer but he beat me to it. 

"I remember now. You said you lived Archie that new kid. You said you wanted to break up with me. And then I told you to stay the hell out of my life before I started to walk away." He looked at me again before saying "I will say this one more time, Betty get the hell out of my life." 

"Jug I'm sorry. I didn't mean that, I don't love him I love you and only you. Please forgive me?" 

"No sorry, I can't be hurt again." 

He was released a few days ago and I'm dying to see him. Archie got with some other girl named Veronica so I knew we wouldn't work out. But I'm desperate to see Jughead so I'm going to go see him today. I get up from my bed and walk out of my house. 

Jughead's POV
After Betty broke up with me I was torn. I was very hurt, I apparently got hit and landed in the hospital. I know she never left my side, even though I couldn't wake up I could still hear things and I heard what she said. It stung me but she caused this. 

I was getting ready to go to sleep when I heard the doorbell ring. I got up and I saw a red eyed, tear stained girl. "Betty? Are you okay?" 

"No Jug I'm not. I want to speak to you, I can't sleep, I can't eat. Yes I know this is all my fault and I don't blame you for thinking that. I just, I can't I love you so much it hurts me physically and mentally. I can't deal with the fact that I hurt you and I will forever be sorry. I don't love Archie I never did I was stupid and I wasn't thinking. But your the only one I love. I'm sorry Jug." She cried. 

I was still mad at her but seeing her like this all broken it hurt me too. She was about to walk away but I grabbed her arm. 

"Betty I'm sorry, I love you too." I said before smashing my lips into hers. She just kissed back and I felt her smile into the kiss. 

"I'm sorry, I hope you can trust me again." 

I just kissed her again.
