Jughead was working in the blue and gold waiting for Betty to finish her practice and then they could head to pops. As he was working away his phone started to buzz on the table. It was Kevin.

Kevin: Get down to the gym...It's Betty!

Jughead was up and running so quick he's sure he would've got whiplash. Upon entering the gym his heart was pounding out of his chest but he was suddenly filled with relief as soon as he saw his girlfriend sat on the bleachers laughing at Archie trying to cheer her up but he could tell she was trying to put on a brave face.

"Betts? What happened? Are you okay? What's going on?" He said as he rushed to her side.

"Okay calm down Juggie I'm okay I fell and landed on my wrist and I think it may be broken...and I need to go to the hospital...and I'm trying not to think about it because...OW!" She rambled.

"Okay, okay, it's okay...come on we'll get you to the hospital." Jug smiled and helped his girlfriend up. Kevin and Archie were in the front of Fred's truck and Jughead and Betty behind. Veronica was in New York for the week.

"I hate hospitals." Betty whined. Jughead chuckled at her but pulled her close and kissed her head. When they arrived Kevin signed her in while the others waited for a doctor. When Betty was called in for an X-ray the boys waited outside but then they were put in a room so they could wait for a doctor. Betty sat on a bad while the doctor assessed her and they boys sat in chairs next to the bed.

"Okay miss Cooper." The doctor started but Betty cut him off.

"Please call me Betty." She said and the doctor smiled.

"Well Betty, your wrist is definitely broken." He stated and Betty winced.

"We need to check your wrist over and then we can get a cast on it, now please may you fill out these forms and I'll be back in a minute." He said before leaving.

"Can one of you fill it in for me I can't really write." She said as she gestured to her wrist.

"I will." Jug said and kissed her cheek as he moved to grab the forms.

"Okay Betts, first question: how did you injure yourself." Jug asked.

"She fell over her own feet." Archie laughed, he had been there when it happened."

"Shut up, but true." Betty giggled.

"Okay little miss clumsy, next question: is the pain getting worse?"

"Well obviously, my bone is snapped into two!" She said, rolling her eyes.

"Woah! Hospitals make you sassy!" Kevin smirked. after all the questions were answered and the doctor gave her a cast they all headed to pops.

"Can we sign it?" Archie asked and Betty nodded after they all signed it and they had their milkshakes Betty and Jughead said goodbye and headed to Jugheads trailer where they were spending the night as Fp was out.

That night as they were laying in bed, Betty turned to Jug with a smile on her face and said "I bet you didn't see this happening today." Holding up her cast. "No I certainly didn't." He laughed. "I love you." She said and kissed her softly. "And I love you, my clumsy girl."
