Entering A New Adventure

After the meeting is over, Wu Xie decided to go back to his chamber to get an earlier rest, after a long day of encountering a lot of strange people, he doesn't feel that enthusiastic about this journey anymore, maybe because he is getting old, or maybe because he is not feeling well, but something in his heart keep on bothering him. Without wanting to think that much any further he closed his eyes trying to sleep.

A sudden movement on his left makes Wu Xie awaken from his half-dreamy state, it is Xiao Ge who is sitting at his bedside, just staring at him

"Do you have something you wanted to say?" Wu Xie asked him, still too lazy to get up and just lay there on the wooden bed that are covered in a soft mattress.

Xiao Ge remained silent then after a while he lowly murmur

"Are you sick?" is the only word that escapes from his mouth

"Why do you think I am sick?" Wu Xie is kind of feeling funny about what he asked just now

He grab Wu Xie's wrist and said "Your heartbeat is irregular"

Wu Xie laugh bitterly 'Xiao Ge is indeed different, he must have noticed it when he sees my reaction today, I also bet that Liu Sang must have already known if Xiao Ge also knew, since his ears are sharp after all'

Wu Xie let out a small sigh "I will not hide it from you, I am sick"

"How sick?" Xiao Ge's face is still that same blank face, but his eyes can't lie, there are a hint of worry hidden inside it.

"Don't know" Wu Xie said half-heartedly because he is so sleepy right now, he cough a few times, but Xiao Ge won't just let him off that easily

"Let's go to the hospital tomorrow" Xiao Ge stated

Wu Xie laugh "Don't worry I already have my medicine with me, I will go to the hospital if it doesn't get better"

Xiao Ge was still not satisfied with Wu Xie's answer at all, but Wu Xie doesn't seem to want to continue the conversation anymore, he turned around not looking at Xiao Ge, pulled his blanket more so he can feel the warm and sleep.

The next two days are just normal days, they discuss things, prepare some things, and have some fun along the way, drinking and eating fully to store their energy. On the day they wanted to go inside the tomb, Wu Xie found many unfamiliar faces that he had not noticed before, probably the ones who just came, when he saw some young man that is around their twenties and even dressing like a university student, he can't help but reach up to his Er Shu and suspiciously said

"Er Shu, you even hire some youngster?"

"No.. they just follow with their teacher to learn something" Er Shu

"You just allow them?" Wu Xie replied shocked

"Of course not, they have all sign up the file" Er Shu is not a stupid person, they are just a bunch of inexperienced kids, and instead of helping, they will just be a nuisance. So if something did indeed go wrong, Er Shu will not be held accountable for anything.

"Most of them have gone to several tombs before, just that kid" Er Shu pointing it to a youngster holding a camera "His name is Yan Ming he has gone down to several places with Professor Lu before, and that young man beside him is Professor Lu second son Lu Shui, the only one without experience is Wang Yu Qin, his son friend"

Wu Xie nods in understanding and goes back to check his belongings once more. Upon entering, Xiao Ge give a stare, face full of worry, Wu Xie chuckle and pat on his shoulder "Don't worry, just enjoy it Xiao Ge" and went passed him, but Xiao Ge hold his hand in front of him to block his way and go in first.
