A Mysterious Voice

"You are Wu Xie right" a man's voice comes from behind him, he turns around and found a big tree holding Yu Qin with its vine, he is glaring at Wu Xie and turned around when their gaze met

"I am a Spirit that protects this mountain, usually people called me Mother Spirit. Since my child has done such a big messed, I can't help but to interfere" Wu Xie can feel a breeze of mild wind coming from somewhere, taking some of the forest mist along with it, making the one who breathes in this air feels relax, as if they have become one with nature.

"Indeed, you have such a pure soul, if you are willing, I would be glad if you wanted to become one of my guardians, but such a shame, you still have a lot of people waiting for you outside" the voice said, Wu Xie can feels that this tree doesn't hold any ill intentions towards him at all, that is why he can feel relax and let down some of his guards.

"Yu Qin.. this is the name I gave him, wishing for him to be able to start a new life, even giving him two friends that are made out of his blood so that he could feel a bond between them, Fu Yin and Yu Yao. But it seems that it is no use after all"

Wu Xie, "The Octopus?"

"It seems that humans called it an octopus, but it is a divine being that gives the blessing to the sick one, we called it Dane. One got a good temper from him while the others got a bad temper from him, but I think revenge in his heart is much greater than anything else. I thought you have given up since long ago, but you are still as stubborn as before"

Yu Qin's face turns sour, like a child that is sulking, he doesn't want to answer his statement at all
"You have to receive your punishment, do you know you have made the earth up above shake?" Yu Qin keeps his mouth shut, still pouting and refuses to speak

"Come here child, close your eyes and tilt your head up a bit" Wu Xie hesitated at first but Yu Qin saw it and scold him
"What are you afraid of? No one is gonna do anything to you!"

Wu Xie let out a bitterly smiled and Yu Qin become silent and avoided his gaze again. Wu Xie does as the voice said and he can feel a cool sensation on his forehead and he slowly opens his eyes.

"I can't cure you, but at least, I can help you to feel less pain. Just take it as an apology for what my child does"

"You have to let them go soon, and come back for your punishment" Wu Xie can feel his eyes closing and everything turns dark again.

Wu Xie slowly open up his eyes, a sharp pain in his abdomen, he pressed the wound and curled himself into a ball, he can hear someone walking nearer to him and opened his eyes to take a look, it is Yu Qin, he walk towards him and kneel down, giving him his outer jacket and wrap him up,
"Are you lonely?", Wu Xie asked.

Yu Qin flinched a little, but didn't say anything, Wu Xie continued
"Instead of doing such a big mess, you could just say so, I am willing to become your friend"
"Who wants to be your friend!!" Yu Qin harshly wraps his jacket around him, making Wu Xie gasp in pain. He took something that is dangling on his neck and put it on Wu Xie, slipping it inside Wu Xie's clothes, close to his heart, he can immediately feel warms creeping out from there.

"YOU! Get away from Wu Xie" Pang Zi shouted from below, his face is full of confusion at that time, but the moment he saw Yu Qin getting close to Wu Xie, he snapped from his daydream and climb faster

Yu Qin got up and slowly walked away, Wu Xie tries to get up but fail, Yu Qin whisper to him
"I.. I don't need you, I still have Fu Yin and Yu Yao" he stomped away, Wu Xie can't help but chuckle and lay back down, he feels like his body is getting beaten up all over.
