EXTRA 13 : New Year (Part 2 End)

Time flies by quickly and it is already New Year's Eve, Wu Xie is no longer feeling sleepy and his condition has become much better compared to before, since it is the new year, they decided to celebrate it at Wu Xie's father's house, his parents have a very beautifully decorated backyard thanks to his mom.

The only thing Wu Xie is happy about is that he doesn't have to do anything and just sit quietly, but the unhappy thing is that he will have to meet a lot of relatives who ask a lot of ridiculous things.

The feast ended peacefully, and even before the sun had risen, there was already a lot of commotion inside the house because they were getting ready to go to the temple, to pray for good luck and blessing for the whole year. There were already a lot of people even in the early morning, Wu Xie couldn't get inside or to be exact, he was not allowed to be inside because the smoke would literally choke him, so he could only wait outside like a madman.

He turns and looks at Xiao Ge who is also waiting outside with him,

"Xiao Ge, don't you want to go inside and light an incense?"

Xiao Ge only looked at him quietly and Wu Xie just nodded awkknowingly

'He has lived for so long even without the help of diety'

The smoke becomes more dense as time passes because more and more people are coming, Xiao Ge tells him to wait inside the car which he immediately agrees because he can't really stand it, after waiting for a while, he sees Pang Zi getting out and Wu Xie also get out to greet him

"You are fast, what is your wish this year?" Wu Xie asked

"I hope that you will be healthy for a long time", he replied annoyingly and drank some water, Wu Xie couldn't help but feel amused

"Can't you wish for something else?"

Pang Zi, "You don't know how tired it is to be worried about someone"

Wu Xie's heart suddenly feels sour and he just looks at him silently

Wu Xie, "I hope you also live for another hundred years", Pang Zi laughs but doesn't say anything

Back at home

Relatives have started to come and Er Shu just can't wait to tease Wu Xie again this year,

"You are already so old and I still have to give you a red envelope, when will it be the time for you to give me one?" Er Shu teased him, and Wu Xie could only laugh dryly, this is also probably why he didn't like to come to the New Year party, the question is always the same

"How is your business going?"

"Do you have a girlfriend"

"When are you getting married?"

"What business are you doing, why don't you let me learn and also gain some money too?"

"I have a relative that just graduated, I heard you have a lot of connections, why don't you introduce them to a good job"

Wu Xie has since long ago felt bored with all the gossip and decided to just leave early, even though Pang Zi isn't so willing. They go back pretty early and Wu Xie finds it fascinating that there are a lot of butterflies flying around the house, just like last time.

"Pang Zi, I think you probably have the same thought as me. This butterfly is what Yu Qin uses to spy on us right?"

Pang Zi looked at this beautiful scenery and nodded agreeing, "He does have his own style"
