I left the library with my books in my arms, there's no need to put them in my backpack, class will start soon.

I tried to go through the sea of people without bumping into someone. And, well, that didn't happen. I ran into some guy, and luckily my books didn't fall.

"Watch where you're going." A blonde guy said calmly, but rudely.

I looked at the floor and nodded.

Before turning around I looked up to see the guy better. Or I was going to see, because when I looked up he was already "kilometers" away. I didn't see him very well, but I think I've never seen him around. Or I just spent too much time in the library to recognize someone that doesn't go there.

I shrugged to myself and continued walking.

Once I arrived to the front of the classroom I noticed everyone was talking about one subject: a new boy. I wish Summer, my internet and best friend, was here to gossip with me. I mean, I wish she was here to everything. I have no friends besides her.

The teacher arrived and a little line was formed in the front of the door to get in. Because I was the last in the line I had to close the door. I sat in one of the chairs behind my desk, where my only company was my backpack.

That's how anti-social I am.

Mr. Wood started the lesson, and I was focused the whole time. The only thing that distracted me was when the door opened without previous warning. A boy, the same I bumped into, entered the room.

A collective gasp was heard in the room and I knitted my eyebrows in confusion. Everyone started whispering, but really loud, and the classroom was a mess.

The boy sat in a table by himself and put his earphones in his ears.

"Aham." Mr. Wood cleared his throat. When nobody stopped talking he pick his book up and slammed it on the table, making everybody jump with the loud sound.

"Silence!" he screamed and now the only sound in the room came from the outside. He smoothed his cardigan and sighed, probably to try to calm himself down "Would you like to introduce yourself to the class?"

"Hmm..." he seemed to thought for a little bit "No, not really." He answered rudely, and I was shocked with such disrespect.

"But I insist that you introduce yourself." Mr. Wood tried to don't lose his chill and smiled.

The boy sighed exaggeratedly loud and said "Hi, I'm Luke and I'm seventeen." He gave the class a fake smile that lasted one second.

I already don't like him.

"There you go, was it that bad?" Mr. Wood asked and Luke rolled his eyes and didn't answer "Oh, and I am the one who decides where you sit, so get up."

Luke groaned and did what he was told to do.

Mr. Wood looked around. He stopped when he found me.

"Go sit next to Catherine, there." He pointed at me and I swear I almost had an heart attack.

Anxiety started growing inside me each step he took towards my table. I pick up my backpack from the chair next to me. Sorry buddy, you have to go to the floor.

The blonde sat down and sighed again. Damn, doesn't he get tired of sighing?

"Very well, we can continue the class now." Mr. Wood announced.

I looked at him with as he explained the subject of today's lesson. I tried to pay attention, but my curiosity on the guy next to me was so big that it wasn't letting me focus on the class. I decided to look to the side, so I could kill my curiosity and then focus on the class.
